We wanted to hike at Starved Rock but did not want to stay in the park. We were a 3 minute drive from the park. The property was super clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious. We especially enjoyed the beautifully landscaped backyard, deck and fire pit. We also had fun taking the short walk to downtown shops/restaurants.

Met at your property with another couple and their 20 something daughter as we were attending a birthday party in the area. In the evenings, we took advantage of the spacious back deck. The location of your home really worked well for us as we walked to restaurants, bars, ice cream, shopping. So much fun! A kind recommendations would be to have curtain panels in the front bedroom to block the sun from coming through the wood blinds in the morning. My group had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed your home. Thank you. Cindy Garten

This is an old home with charm and character. The bathrooms are small but great water pressure and lots of hot water for a group. Loved the back deck and fire pit gathering spaces. But if you plan to cook meals, there are limited small kitchen pots and pans. We enjoyed our stay!

We wanted to find a place to get away out of the city for a reunion with my college housemates. It was a wonderful place, and I would love to come back!

The house was amazing. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. What was especially great was how close it is to everything. We had an awesome time!
