What a peaceful and tranquil place to spend a few days in Fayetteville. There were several groups and families staying on the mountain but no issues with noise. I will definitely be back and bring my family and church group.

Beautiful quiet setting. Perfect get away location. No frills but that is not what we were looking for. This was a great location to spend with friends relaxing and catching up. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee not feeling rushed to move on. We will return!

We stayed in the sassafras. The bathroom could use some work. A bit moldy and large holes in tile. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the quiet and lovely views

It was unique. Well maintained. It is the only place I want to stay when I visit my son.

First let me say I didn't realize what I had booked so when I drove up I was completely confused. It looks like a YMCA camp ground. The "hotel" room was a lodge/cabin with no frills. Like NO frills, not even shampoo. It is more like an Air B&B. I didn't get there before 5 when they close so I didn't know anything about what was available or what the property offered. They just left my key in the room. The room was clean, very basic and the beds were OK. I don't think I would stay there again as I like a few more creature comforts especially for just a one situation. It might be fun for a family reunion or something which a big group; but for me alone it was just odd. It was kind of hard to find too, so it's important go find it during the day first.

Absolutely loved the room I stayed in! It was clean and cozy! The parking was easily accessible and right in front of my room. The staff was wonderful and answered all if my questions. I will be staying here again if I am ever back in the area!

Two nights and had no hot water either night. Gnats in bathroom and bed. Nice area but that’s all.

The front desk staff were wonderful and accommodating. The unit we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest. Most of the floor tiles were broken so trying to get up in the middle of the night and not wake my son was difficult as they were very noisy when stepped on. The beds are definitely old… noisy, and not the most comfortable. There were also quite a few bugs in our room… I know that can’t always be helped but my son killed 3 in the first 30 min of being there. The price point was great and the grounds are nice.

As other reviews said, our room was very clean. I detest spiders so was worried but it was a very clean and welcoming room. With that there was a somewhat musty smell and wasnt sure if it was a cat smell or just old place smell.
The AC worked great but know that if youre in the Magnolia 1 room, the AC points right at one of the beds with full force. We put up suitcases to divert.
The bathroom had room to put stuff on sink and I liked that theres a second sink right outside the bathroom.
The room was good for the one night we needed it but I couldnt imagine stayin in there longer than overnight because not a lot of room to hang out in besides on beds.
As a recommendation, clean around the outside entry door frames to the rooms as part of the cleaning process. Ours had a lot of webs and spiders. Outside of the door frame but still had to walk (run) through it.
Overall really good value for the cost. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the gardens outside the main office also.

Nice stay for the price! Kinda like a lodge layout which is great. Only negative was no microwave.

The best part of staying at Mount Sequoyah is the price, followed by the quiet and peaceful environment. The accommodations are comparable to any Super 8 or Red Roof Inn. The proximity to downtown Fayetteville is a plus. Be aware that it is a retreat center and it may have other large groups staying there or having events at night.

My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting family. The place was very quiet and peaceful. Parking was a hassle because of different events in surrounding areas. The room was nice. The downside was the shower. The water pressure was extremely low, and it was a handheld shower spout. I didn't like that. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Loved the quiet seclusion and cute cottages.

My first room had bugs (dead) and spiders (live). I arrived late and the office was closed. I called the after-hours number and the on-call person, Michael, was amazing and accommodating. He moved me to another room that was much, much better. Unfortunately, I had to move to yet another room for the second night which did not have bugs either.
The rooms were "folksy" without many amenities. The TV remotes in all three rooms would not change the channels. This was super frustrating. I realize that this place was meant for family reunions or something other than a few nights while visiting my daughter at school.
The grounds are amazing. The staff was super accommodating and couldn't have been nicer. Just not a good option if you are looking for a hotel.

We loved our stay in The Pines cabin. The space was just what we needed for a price we could handle. The bed was VERY comfortable!! The only negative experience we encountered was that a storm came thru that night and the rain pinged off of the metal box of the A/C unit outside the window. It was sooo loud! As soon as the storm passed, we were able to go back to sleep. Not sure anything can be done, but it doesn't hurt to let someone know. All in all, we WILL be back again! Thank you!

This was a simple, clean, inexpensive property, reasonably well located. Be sure to go to the. Crystal Bridges museum! Magic.
