It was comfortable, I slept well. I was unable to connect to WiFi, but not the end of the world.

Clean room, comfortable bed, overall a pleasant stay.

Hotels .com didn't say a word that the hotel was being renovated and work was being done while there! Terrible job!
1.0
There was blood in my first room and hair in the shower or the second room

proximity to highway made room noisy. aside from that friendly staff and good breakfast
2.5
They are under construction/renovation. Room was given to another person about midnight! Heard them trying to get in. Clerical error I suppose. Breakfast was minimal.

I reserved a king bed. When I arrived I was told I would have to pay extra for the king bed. Once this was resolved I was put in a room with an extremely loud air conditioner.

They are renovating and the renovated parts are beautiful. My room was a renovated room and it was very nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel sits right off the interstate but the noise wasn’t too bad. I was a solo traveler and felt safe.

Hotel is still under construction. Work was quiet and shut off from the occupied end of the hotel. Staff was very nice to accommodate my early check-in. I told the front desk I was not in need of daily maid service, but that was not encouraged or presented as an option. Could be more eco-friendly. Location was perfect for me.

The front desk clerk did not seem to know what he was doing. He wanted me to agree to an extra $150 hold in case of damage and said it was a hotel policy. Never heard of that before since you have my credit card on file and I refused to say it was ok. The free breakfast was a very minimal breakfast with some of the worst coffee i have ever had. The breakfast was so bad we skipped it the second day. Our room was clean but the hallway and elevator were dirty. It is evident the hotel is under renovation.
Our second night there our key cards wouldn't work when we returned to our room from a long day. the same front desk worker tried three times to reset our cards but eventually just went to the room and unlocked it and then handed me a card and said it was a master key that would get me in. I hope it wasn't a master key, because I would not want someone else to have a key to my room.
I will not be returning to the hotel the next time I am in the area, i will find another place.

Nice place to stay!! They are doing renovations but it didn’t cause any issues for us. Definitely will stay again.

Even though it was hard to find (being under construction it looks like it’s not open), my experience was great. The room was clean and it was very quiet. The staff was friendly.

Property was remodeled, clean & very pleasant. Will stay here again

Slow but nice front desk. No king bed as reserved. Tiolet dirty in room and very little toilet paper. Rest of room like new. Hotel is being worked on....suspect a worker used the bathroom.....

Nice place will stay again

The hallways, elevator and shower were dirty. The smell of wet paint was pervasive as they renovate the motel. There was dangerous broken tile in the entryway. There was a lot of road noise that came through the air conditioner unit. The breakfast was pitiful; advertised as a hot breakfast; the only things hot were toast if you ran it through the toaster a couple of times, the funky textured make your own waffles and the disgusting tasting coffee.

Not a very nice place the place is under construction and I don’t think I would

Presently, the property is in the middle of a remodel. It was fine for a one night stay over a weekend. Not sure how it would be over the work week. Good location and accomodating staff.

Property still under renovations.... Although clean and inviting lobby and breakfast area... Rooms were clean and comfy and spacious...

My room was very nice and newly renovated, clean room. The property is being renovated overall and most of the floor I was on appeared to be under construction with cardboard covering carpet and vacant rooms with no doors, painting supplies. It was quiet while I was there.
There didn’t seem to be many guests, so the breakfast was limited to toast, cereals, a couple of muffins and a waffle station. I would have liked an egg choice.

The property is close to being finished. Work is still being done, but the rooms were nice and updated. Enjoyed the stay.

Recently renovated room so everything looks new. Room cleaning is good but not great as there was some dirt and small hairs from the previous guest. Walls are a little thin so you can hear the rooms next to you and some of the road noise. Very convent to get off and on 81. The Free Breakfast was simple but adequate, cereal, muffins, yogurt and bread. Considering the price it is a very good value especially if you are just looking for a place to spend the night on your travels.

Historic Powhatan Resort is absolutely beautiful with 3 awesome pools, among other amenities. And the staff and management are very friendly and helpful.

Property under renovation. Hallway and elevator very dirty. Rooms freshly painted and clean

They are in the process of renovating, but our room was new and clean and you cannot beat it for the price. It will look amazing when they are finished.

The property was great! The rooms were clean. The hotel is current half under construction and renovating but everything is clean, neat, quiet, and safe. I would definitely stay again and the hotel is going to look amazing after construction is done!

The hotel is being remodeled and is in disarray inside and out. The end of the building adjacent to the public highway has a large sign "Main Stay"...not "Sleep Inn". We drove past and had to turn around and drive into the parking lot before seeing a "Sleep Inn" sign on the far side. The outside of the building looks like a new building under construction...not open for business. Only one Ice machine worked on the third floor. The lady who checked us in never briefed us on any of the hotel's services. The shower did not have any safety grab bars and the ventilation system was not working. The continental breakfast was very skimpy and not well serviced. Not our usual pleasant stay at a "Sleep Inn"

Great place it was all brand new. Great rate. Only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast.

still constructing half of it. It was an old building that they are making new again

Great hotel under going remodeling, besides that it has excellent potential, staff was very courteous.

Amazingly comfortable bed and linens.

Room was clean and comfortable. We had no issues with noise the night we stayed there. On the not so good side, the hotel was undergoing a major renovation which made the establishment appear shabby. Also, the breakfast offered by the hotel was sub par. Not much of a selection to choose from; one of the waffle irons was out of order; overall disappointing. Perhaps this had something to do with the renovation but I would be hard pressed to choose this hotel again.

We booked this property and paid for our stay and when we arrived, we were told that the hotel had overbooked and that they did not have a room for us. It was past midnight and we were exhausted as we had just driven for 6 hours straight. The female manager on duty blamed Expedia and was not helpful at all. She stated that she did not have our money that we had to speak to Expedia to try to get our money back and offered no practical solutions except “we can try to transfer you to the local Red Roof Inn”, but after looking up the place on Expedia it was $50 cheaper to stay there and they refused to credit us the difference so we decided to call Expedia directly. After two hours on the phone with Expedia, we were finally set up with a new room in town at Best Western after 2 AM. The entire ordeal was horrendous for us including for our two children, one being an infant.
In addition to this, the entire building looks like it’s under construction and everything is in disarray inside and out.
Do yourself a favor and stay at the Best Western where they are established and know how to run a hotel properly.

A repurposed Days inn that had seen better days. Sleep inn is doing a wonderful job not cutting any corners. Staff are great. The property is a work in progress with about 1/2 the rooms available. Quiet and convenient to restaurants. If you are going to a Gettysburg like me stay here and save some money.

The staff was great. The property is still under construction but overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Hotel is in the process of renovations, but the rooms are beautiful and the hotel staff wonderful. Highly recommend.

Hotel was under renovation which was fine but it had an odd smell throughout and was a little cluttered. Bathroom toilet seat was barely attached and dirty. Breakfast was a joke with hardly any food and ants crawling all over the counter. I suppose it all reflected the $80 rate.
2.5
Hotel was under renovation but that had no effect on us. The room was gigantic and clean. The price was incredible!! Probably the best value for the nicest room ever!!!!
