St Maarten is such a lovely place to visit. The Coral Beach Club is located in a peaceful area of the island. The staff are very nice. This island is full of the most pleasant people we have ever met. The Veranda next door was the perfect place to eat and enjoy a drink with a beautiful view of the ocean. We met many other travelers and had lots of fun.

My stay was 21 days, could have easily stayed longer!! Absolutely love everything: the restaurants, beaches, locals are so so friendly.
Coral Beach Club checked all the boxes off and more! If you are thinking about going, do it!

We booked Sea Star #24 at Coral Beach Club for its proximity to the beach and the French side of the island.
The condo was newly furnished and well equipped. We liked it as soon as we walked in. We were greeted by 2 lovely young ladies who escorted us to the condo and explained everything to us. All areas were roomy and welcoming. The area is completely gated with easy pass codes. The beach was a short walk thru the property to a locked gate. The beach is shared with the Oyster Bay Beach Club to which we had complete access to use all their facilities.
Downstairs from the condo was a superb restaurant that we visited 2-3 times a week. Ask for Landers. A short drive over the border on the main road led us to some other nice restaurants. Our favorite was Oasis which is adjacent to the Bread and Butter fresh bakery and small market with alcohol.
We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. Easy place to cook and grill, and just a few steps to Dawn Beach. (Great beach)

We just returned from an 8 day stay at the SeaStar 24 condo at the Coral Beach Club. I cant say enough about how communicative the owners were prior to our arrival with information about the resort and island as it was our first time visiting Saint Martin. The condo is exactly as pictured with very thoughtful details for the guests. Toiletries, items for the beach to use, even emergency items like Hydrogen Peroxide should you need it. The kitchen was well stocked with basic items you could need for cooking and had available items like spices, cooking spray, and coffee. The staff at the resort were very pleasant and responsive. Our housekeeper Pandora was so flexible and made sure we had a clean condo to return to and was available if we needed anything. Priya and Ingrid were helpful with our check in/check out and answering general questions for us during our stay about things around the island. The Coral Beach Club and the sister resort are doing well with recovery since the hurricane with essentially all services up and running again. There is one restaurant not open called Beaus in the OBBR, but the Infinity restaurant there and the Big Fish are both running and offered a good menu. There were staff on the beach to help with beach chairs/umbrellas, etc. As most people have mentioned the Dutch side of the island has recovered at a quicker pace, but the French side which was very close by is bouncing back with restaurants opening again. There at times issues that they are diligently working on, the power flickered once or twice when in a store but they kept on working as they were, it didnt stop the process of operation at all. The islanders truly are"friendly people" as they have a reputation for. If we looked bewildered someone seemed to ask if we needed help when we were out and about. We had unfortunately a flat tire occur on our way home one evening and people came from their homes nearby to assist us. I am always a bit suspect when I read glowing reviews for places wondering if this is a fake review. I assure you we did stay at this resort in this condo and I would highly recommend it for your stay in Saint Maarten/St Martin.

Our condo was beautifully appointed and well maintained. As part of a condominium development that was severely hit by Hurricane Irma, it is lovely to see all of the headway that has been made to the re-construction of the town homes and little condo building. The grounds are being re-planted, the homes are being re-built, the marina is slowly being re-built. The beach is slowly being re-done and will once again be pristine. (The area closer to the beach resort was maintained for patrons. The area in front of the town homes will be completed once the homes are finished.) Construction happens daily - starts after 8 am and is finishes around 3:30pm.
Our check in and check out experience was simple. Ingrid the on-site property manager was a dream. Any concerns or issues were handled deftly, promptly and with accuracy. Lorna provided twice weekly housekeeping services. She was thorough and efficient.
Services at the affiliated Coral Beach Resort were good. Terrific pool with waterfalls and a great view to the ocean. Resort staff were helpful. On-site car rental was easy and quick. Wellness Spa was a pleasant experience. The gym was well equipped although some equipment (weighted balls, ropes, mats and balancing balls) need to be replaced as they were worn. The gym is well used.
Sint Maarten/St. Martin is coming back from the devastation of the hurricane. The area around Oyster Pond and Bay (French and Dutch sides) is open for business. Fantastic restaurants (Infinity, Oasis and BHZ), new ones opening soon (Big Fish) and markets (Bread 'n Butter) . Delicious food, lovely people.
Orient Beach is booming. There are still areas that are destroyed and deserted as insurance claims in some places are still on-going. The restaurants and beach bars are making a come back with most being set back further from the water therefore widening the beach considerably.
Beach areas like Friar's Bay, Mullet Bay, Simpson Bay, Grand Case Beach, Indigo Beach and Philipsburg Boardwalk Beach are all beautifully maintained and clean. Yes, there are changes if you are a regular visitor to the island but the beauty of the island perseveres. Beach bars, restaurants and shops are making a come back. They love tourists.
Stores and shops on the French side seem to be struggling a bit more than on the Dutch side. The re-construction on the French side seems to be slower but that said the Marigot market is thriving, restaurants and bistros have re-opened and there are new ones, too.

Great mid-winter getaway from the cold and snow of Wisconsin.
Seastar 24 was a very nice condo...well appointed and maintained.
Ingrid, local property concierge, was accommodating and helpful as were the owners Jon and Louise.
The island is slowly recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Irma but this will be a slow ongoing process for years to come.
Carribbean weather was terrific and we especially enjoyed the resort pool at Oyster Bay Beach Club ...just up the road from the condo.
Our favorite dinner spot was a small French restaurant right in the 'neighbor' called l'Oasis.
We enjoyed our visit!

The condominium is very nice- spacious, open floor plan, modern appliances.
It is so well stocked- from bathrobes to snorkeling gear. Ingrid, the concierge, was very helpful.
At Coral Beach Club only 2 units are open- this one and a unit next door. All other units are boarded up and being renovated after Irma. This is a construction site- drilling into cement started around 7:00 AM - that was the loudest and most piercing noise. Workers, construction trucks are in the area during the day.
Ocean Beach Club is an easy jaunt away-about 1/4 mile. The pool there is very nice and they have a restaurant and bar. We did not book any trips through them, but their services were made available to us.
Dawn Beach at Ocean Beach Club was terrible when we were there. Seaweed was very deep and water was murky- not a pleasant site.
We ventured to Orient Beach, Pinel Island Beach and Grand Case. The latter was our favorite. These beaches are less than a 30 minute car drive.
We enjoyed St Maarten very much- and hope to return again!

We've been coming to the island for many years, and we almost always stay in Oyster Bay. We were very happy to find SeaStar 24 on our last trip.
The condo is very nicely appointed, and it felt just like being home for the 2 weeks we were there. The kitchen has everything you need, the main bath shower is addictive, and the living space is large and comfortable - a couple kids and mom and dad could coexist peacefully! 🤣 The master bedroom is large, although I think the mattress might be nearing the end of its lifespan. However, that is no biggie! Additionally, having the laundry available and the pool close adds to the value and convenience. Be sure to note that the outdoor space is (as described ) a gallery.
The location in the property is nice, as you just drive right through the gate and you're home. It is on the main road into OBBR next door, so there's a lot of traffic if you like to have the windows open. But, if you're like us, you will have long since headed into Town or the beach by the time traffic gets heavier.
Of course, the location of the property to locations south (Town) and north (Grand Case or Orient Beach) makes it perfect. You're into Town in less than 10 minutes, and even Grand Case is not 20 minutes away. Dawn Beach has come back nicely, and chairs and umbrellas are now available there again. Everything you need for the beach is available in the condo. And, there is a great lil mini-grocery just on the other side of the bay or a full grocery just past Orient Bay.
Overall, there's a lot going on in Oyster Bay, although the Mama Pizza's location there is closed for now until the area gets more accommodations open. (The new Cupecoy location is open... but not as good.)
Another guest had commented on the noise, and, yes, there is a lot of construction noise. But, 1) it's mostly during the day when you're likely to be out-and-about; 2) not all that bad for the most part (lots of the heavy stuff is done); and 3) great to hear because it means the island is on the road to recovery after Irma.
Overall, we probably won't look elsewhere to stay when we come to the island, and Jon and Louise have already provided details for our summer stay and next holiday season. It's a great condo in our favorite area on our favorite island. Looking forward to our next stay.
No doubt, we highly recommend you consider SeaStar 24 for your next stay! (Unless, of course, it's when we want to be there. Haha!)

One of the nicest condos we have stayed in. It is appointed with top quality amenities, linens, is tastefully decorated and overall a lovely space to stay. If my review was purely based on the space, it would be 5 stars without a doubt.
However, we were looking for a quiet relaxing place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Seastar was not it. It was one of the noisiest places we have ever stayed. The owners Jon and Louise were very responsive and even made a point to tell us how this was such a quiet relaxing place unlike other accommodations on the island. I understand the devastation of the hurricane, but that is not an excuse for misrepresenting your offering.
On arrival we were given a disclaimer to sign regarding some daytime construction noise, little did we know that daytime meant from 7am to 9pm 6 days a week! The disclosure also said the rates have been discounted, as this was our first stay on St. MAARTEN, we were not aware of the regular rates and did not book based on price as this was our 30th anniversary. This should have been disclosed prior to booking, not when we arrived)
The 4 foot wide aisle/balcony (The only place you could see the water (oyster pond, not the open ocean) was situated on a road where every vehicle that goes by feels the necessity to honk their horn either at the men working directly below or the security guard located 500 feet up the road! We were allowed to utilize another deck at an under construction unit which made our time outdoors better The beach which is shown in the photos with pristine sand and rows of lounge chairs with umbrellas did not exist. The area where the photo shows is littered with seaweed and the only chairs are at Oyster bay Resort (which we had access to if we wanted).
The disclaimer we were giving on arrival also informed us that we would only receive maid service twice per week rather than daily. This was not an issue for us, however we did not see a maid for the entire week. In short, lovely condo...but misrepresented. As a former resort owner, accurate representation with no surprises is the basis for a sustainable business.
Won't be returing.

Our trip to St Maarten and stay at Coral Beach Club was fantastic. The accommodations were not only luxurious but situated in the beautiful Oyster Bay on Dawn Beach. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting. Hope to return for a repeat experience. Our host was extremely gracious and offered extensive information about all of the island opportunities on both the French and Dutch sides. Toured the entire island, from the Rainforest Zip Line to snokling over ocean coral reefs. We highly recommend Coral Beach Club Sea Star 24.

The condo is located in a nice location. However the destruction left by hurricane Irma in St. Martin especially in Oyster Pond limits places to go. The condo itself was very nice and very well equipped with high end items. A great bed and nice flat screen TV's in both living room and bedroom.
