Winner of the 2019 James Anderson Award for Heritage Preservation & featured in National Geographic, the Bradshaw building has long been one of Stratford’s most beloved architectural landmarks. With historical roots cultivated by a spirit of progress, the property takes its rightful place at the forefront of the city’s premium luxury vacation rental offerings.
Originally built in 1903 in the Edwardian Classical style, complete with channeled brick and radiating vousisoirs that frame arched windows and entrances, the Mooney Biscuit and Candy Factory defined the entrepreneurial spirit of the time.
It was in this spirit that successive enterprises built their own legacies at 245 Downie Street such as The Bradshaw Lofts namesake, J.L. Bradshaw, one of Canada's oldest wholesalers.
Professionally hosted by hospitality expert, sommelier, and Stratford native, Brendan McKenna (The Kressley Group Limited), all suites are fully equipped with modern kitchen fittings, spacious washroom facilities, complimentary on-site parking, and ensuite laundry fixtures for your convenience.
