Came in to a very warm welcome and was able to check in early for a small fee. All The staff was amazing, so helpful, and kind. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The area is very walkable and location is great. Hope to return someday!

I happened upon Hotel La Pau as I had extended my stay in Barcelona but had to switch hotels. What an unbelievable surprise it was. I am an absolute stickler for customer service and the pride and care La Pau took in their customer service was evident as soon as I stepped through the doors. They knew my name, took my bags so I could set them down, were able to get me into my room early, etc. It only got better from there as they had a prepared list of sites and restaurants complete with my name on it. I was then escorted to my room, which was IMO rather remarkable for a European hotel room. It was spacious, well designed, the AC worked, everything was pristine. Don’t even get me started on the shower. Best shower ever. But it didn’t end there. I was greeted by every employee warmly every time I entered and left the hotel. Most greeted me by name. They helped me to find other locations, such as a sports bar to watch the Champions League games and more. I have stayed at many places in Barcelona over a number of years and Hotel La Pau blew them all away. They’ll be the first place I look at from now on.

We were blown away how incredibly nice all the staff were from check in to check out!! Everything was amazing from room size to comfortable beds. I would highly recommend anybody to stay here! We will be back. Loved all the staff!

This hotel by far was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Great and friendly staff, hotel location was very convenient, beautiful hotel in and out. Family euro trip with 2 teenage girls and the hotel suite was beautiful and accommodating.

Travelled from the USA and stayed here for 3 nights. This hotel was AMAZING! The service was American-standard (which is rare in Europe). They greeted us with champagne and the check in process was smooth. The room was beautiful, clean, and had amazing amenities. The pool terrace was cute and perfect size. The breakfast was a traditional European buffet but you also have the choice to order food as well. The food was great and we looked forward to breakfast every morning. This hotel is located right off the La Rambles and easy access to the metro and beach area. I have not a single bad thing to say, I had such a positive experience. I will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Barcelona.

Everything about the hotel was great, but they don’t have normal tv. You have to use your phone to sign into different streaming services. I don’t think this is user friendly for most of us seniors.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and amazing. So unique! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing! Staff were attentive and available. The shower was excellent! Bed very comfortable! Terrace was adorable. The area has anything you would want. Walking distance to a beach, shopping center, and even closer to Las Ramblas (iconic street).

Liked that it was a great new hotel with style very comfortable bed for a very fussy sleeper, great modern decor, exceptional staff going out of their way to please their clients. Enjoyed that it was near the ports so you could go for a walk, just off La Ramblas thoroughfare, we took local buses to a few of the sights which we enjoy. I would stay here again & recommend to family & friends. The only negative for me was the pool was a little small in length & was a little shallow - could have been 1mt depth? The longe chairs were too low for us and we like shade so we sat under the coverered area on the couch that was a little higher.

Do not walk.. Run to book a stay here at La Pau! The hotel is wonderful and the staff was incredible. We felt so welcome here. The air conditioning was amazing, that’s a concern at some places. The location is very convenient, even for walking to most of the areas of interest. There are good eats nearby as well as some wonderful Flamenco shows. They have a pool, albeit small, but it’s on the roof and it’s pretty cool to be up there either way. I usually have some complaints.. I had none here except for having to leave. Well done, La Pau! Nos vemos muy pronto 😘

La Pau is a new hotel just opened, with beautiful decor and lovely rooms. It is in a great location in the Gothic Quarter with an easy walk to the port. Everyone was very attentive and service oriented. Great weekend!

This was one of the best hotels that we ever stayed in, and we have been to three other countries on this trip alone! Pictures does no justice to this beautiful family owned hotel! However the best thing about this hotel was the service that we received, and the best hotel staff that we ever encountered in our lives. All of them were excellent, in providing five star service, and friendliness, but Daniel, Maria and Alex were just flawless in helpfulness, and welcoming us into their hotel, and country. The room was just so beautiful, and so clean and the bathroom was just a perfection! Every possible comfort is clearly meticulously planned for. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Came here for a business trip over 3 days. The service was incredible from start to finish, everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was spotless, all of the toiletries smelt incredible. The rooftop pool is small and a perfect temperature. This was a welcome oasis after a long day. I often got the whole roof to myself! This was the best bed I’ve ever slept in, and hope to come and stay here again very soon.
