The Mollie Pritchard is a lovely old school hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms do not have a refrigerator but they will put one in the room if you ask for one ahead of time. I would give it 5 stars except that we were assigned a room on the ground floor, which is actually the basement. So the ceiling was low and it felt small and dark. These rooms are called “delux” and you must take stairs to get to it. We didn’t ask to switch rooms because we were only staying 1 night and were too busy and tired to make the effort. I would advise if you are staying here to make sure you get a room accessible by elevator. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable I would stay here again, but not in the basement

We arrived in a rain storm. The valet did not help us with our luggage. They had one person working the reception desk to check in, despite a wedding and two bridal showers. It was very slow. The rooms are super small and what was supposed to be a queen bed was a full. The bathroom needs some serious updating. The location is beautiful and the lobby is nicely appointed.

I understand it is historical but the ceiling looked like it had mold on it. The bathroom door had so many coats of paint you needed 2 hands to get it open and closed. I actually got stuck in it for this reason. Toilet tank cover was cracked. Toilet ran constantly. We had 3 rooms in our party and all rooms had similiar complaints. And the guy working Saturday night of our stay was the rudest person ever. Would never go back or recommend. We were there for a wedding at their sister hotel next door the Oystet Point which was very nice.

I stay every year for my husband’s birthday. It’s very close to restaurants and most things are all within walking distance. The front desk was amazing as always this weekend. And fixed the mix up with the booking of the room. Expedia mix up. The pool area is always well kept and we just love this place!

Our room wasn’t ready until 4pm; coffee empty in the lobby on multiple tries and even after asking about it, it was just “sorry.” Pool attendants were lame except for Rebecca who was / is outstanding and an absolute pleasure. I felt like I was in the way of hotel staff / cleaners. No staff was proactive except Rebecca (pool) and the dining hostess. For a price tag of $400+ a night, I expect a lot more.

Everyone was a delight from check-in, dining, etc. Plus, you are in the perfect location to the best dining, downtown, and waterfront.
