The good - the staff are super friendly and helpful. Location - it’s a 30m walk to Main Street. Bed is comfortable.
The bads - parking across the street from the hotel in a random parking lot with zero security. The hotel is nice but older. You can find as nice or nicer and newer for the same price. No Starbucks- just a place that serves Starbucks (and way over charges for it) and you can’t pay with the app or get stars for purchases. I think there’s a restaurant but not sure. Also not necessarily if there is because you can get great food at reasonable prices nearby. Overall it was ok but not a place that would recommended my friends and family to.

Very comfortable, clean, convenient, quick ride into town. One drawback: your dog cannot stay in the room alone even if crated so it’s tough to take advantage of local sights for any length of time

Situated away from the busy historic main street, but there are multiple bus stops very close to the hotel so we used the FREE city bus system to get around.
Rooms were clean and comfortable size, beds were not amazing after 3 nights my back was feeling it. The pool was great, just warm enough and actually has a 6ft deep end.

Check in was excellent, room was great, however no body wash in the shower, Kleenex only had about 5 sheets in it. There was an empty beer bottle and empty soda can in our room, so maybe the cleaning crew missed it? The iron needs to be replaced. Does not get hot enough to iron anything, even on the hottest setting and the steam setting makes the iron leak water everywhere. Explained all of this to the front desk and they noted everything and said they would take care of it, and I feel confident they will.

Hotels.com said it included free breakfast when I booked. Hotel knew nothing about it and was not interested in figuring it out.
Hotels.com makes it impossible to get assistance or help. Instead of wasting my time I gave up after 30 minutes.

This at one time was a nice hotel. It was nice but very dated. The one thing that was very annoying was in our room we had a very loud and noisy bed. The frame was squeaky and every time my teenage boy moved or rolled, it made a loud noise. The window faced t he inside of the hotel atrium and there was a pool. There were kids playing and it was quite loud. I don't mind kids, just didn't enjoy the screaming heard in my room. There was also a musty odor to the room. I am sure from years of wet clothes from skiing.

The hotel is very clean and what you'd expect from a Marriott property.
Pool and hottub close at 9, which is totally understandable, because about 25 rooms have balconies or are walk outs that are actually inside the atrium where the pool and hot tub are.
Now for the bad.... The hotels wifi is absolutely horrible, signal strength is poor causing lots of drops in connection. Normally, you'd just switch over to your cell, but cell reception is also very poor (1 bar). All of the tvs had a problem with their internet connection, which meant no streaming, hbo etc... TV wasnt a huge deal but trying to answer work emails at night was problematic.
The front desk staff where great! Checkin process was fast and painless. They were genuinely nice people. Cleaning staff too! Very polite and caring.
The waiter at the breakfast buffet though was not. He was abrupt and HIGHLY focused on us paying the bill quickly. He didnt like that we didn’t have a voucher from Marriot elite and as a result brought the check, waited for me to hand him my credit card then came back and stood 3 feet behind me until i signed the receipt. I saw him do this with others too. This is completely unacceptable behavior.

The first room we were given was unclean from previous guest. We were then moved to a room that was connected to the pool. It was very loud and noisy in the room looks to be a downgrade from a previous room, after going back to the front desk for a third time, we were given a room that was clean. It was just a huge hassle. And finally in the morning when he went to get breakfast, they had it set up as a buffet style breakfast, all of the plates and so we’re we’re we’re dirty and the food was stale, dry and flavorless and cost $20 a person. Overall the whole experience was very disappointing and would not recommend.
