Small weekend trip during an event in Westfalenpark Dortmund.
We were out walking mostly, the hotel was close to the park and had good standard.

I picked this hotel on location, as I was in Dortmund for a football match and didn't know the town (or Germany) at all.
It was perfect. Arriving by train I took a quick taxi to it, then joined supporters walking from the town centre to the match and was there in 15 minutes. Afterwards I simply walked back to my hotel. (Or rather to the bar across the road)

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly even though my german was appalling!
Shame there is no coffee and tea facilities in the rooms but this wouldn't put me off returning. Will hopefully be staying there again next year.

A decent hotel near the Borussia Dortmund stadium but by no means a luxury hotel.
