We were at a swim meet with a bit of downtime and discovered the TV stations for the cable did’t work. All that worked was the free Samsung tv which is a joke. The first night we complained about it and a gentleman from the front desk came to fix it and said because it had the free Samsung Tv that the tv was fine and left. The dismissive attitude of this person was frustrating. The next day I said fix or make it right another way or put us in a different room. This was after the maintenance came and basically said this new tv set up they have is aweful and couldn’t fix it. So the front desk person put me in a new room and that tv’s cable didn’t work. I was beginning to think the Rogers cable didn’t work on any of the tv’s. So I went back to the front desk and they offered a 15% discount off their overpriced buffet. I said this must be somekind of joke with all the nonsense you have put me through. Later we came to an agreed solution of us getting a late check out time…which helped us out. The place is nice but please figure this tv thing out as people like to sit down and watch it at the end if the day.

Was expecting a classic victorian hotel. Inside is all modernized and little old stuff left. Unfortunately the new stuff is dated. Early 90's look and smell.
A/C was non functional and front desk said no one was available to look into it. We thought of opening the windows to let some cool air in but their were no screens on the windows and we were right in the woods. 5 min of having the window open we had a dozen mosquitos in the room.
Smoke detector was missing too. Probably a violation of some sort.
Make sure you bring your waking shoes too. Quite a hike from the lobby to the room. 6000 block.
Up 4 floors in an elevator, 300' to the first set of stair, 100' to the 2nd set of stairs then another 200' to the room.

Heritage hotel, close to Western University. Easy onsite parking, beautiful grounds. Can be noisy with wedding reception crowds.

The Leadership Center is a great place to stay if you are doing something at Western University since it is so close. I was expecting a hotel and that is not what this is. It has amenities like a hotel but it is not a three-star hotel. My room was very, very tiny but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The coffee maker was appreciated. I didn't like that I had to carry my luggage up the stairs and that my room was really, really far from where I parked my car and the check-in desk was. The room looked very worn and the carpet had buckles so it was a tripping hazard. But, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and my view from my room was stunning. The breakfast offered was very good but quite expensive. The restaurant served great food and the staff was lovely.

I love this place for when I go visit my daughter in university. The property is beautiful and the rooms are cozy. Unfortunately this stay they put me in a room right next to a wedding reception so it was quite loud and I didn’t sleep as well as I normally do.

The bed quilt was very thick and hot to sleep under.

Good property. Close to western. Our room was on the first floor and it was a bit damp. Next time I would ask for a higher level room.
