Hotel was ok . Staff not the friendliest. Had to keep asking for towels and maid service. The shower liner was dirty . Air freshener smell in hotel to overpowering. I would not stay there again. There are other hotels on the same road try them.

I really dont understand peoples high praise of this place. Its sad when places cant fix things properly to make it look like you at least care about your business. All kinds of stains on the shower curtains. Place is old and dingy. For breakfast!!! No jelly, no cream cheese. Have people standing sround looking for condiments only to say you are out. Really! Couldnt get off your phones ALL night the night before to make sure your guests have the ALL the offerings you say you provide? Definitely will not be staying here again.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and freshly updated. Service was very good at check in. We didn’t stay long due to the OVERWHELMING scent added to the interior of the hotel. Febreeze type scent PUMPED into the hallway made it impossible for us to do more than spend the night. We opened the window to lessen the scent in the room. Breakfast was basic. We left early in the morning.

It was okay overall. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. My room didn’t have a knob to hook the slider too which made me feel a bit uncomfortable since I was a solo female traveler. Bathroom curtain was yucky mold, and there was paint peeling from the bathroom door. No blackout shades just the light thin ones. Bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep and get back on the road.

My checking took a while although the person was very nice. The carpets in the hallway and my room smelled of mildew.

We made a last minute decision to stay here as our other lodging plans fell through. The check in process was very quick and painless. There are several doors throughout the building that lead to the parking lot. I appreciated this as we had a lot of luggage and it was easy to get to our room. As soon as you get into the building there is an overwhelming smell of air freshener that just smells like public toilet air freshener. It's very strong and anyone with a sensitive nose might find it intolerable. The room was very tight with two queen beds and it looked very tired and had a funny smell. We turned the AC on and it also had a pretty pungent smell. The bathroom was fine, a little rundown and stains in some places but it did the job. Overall an OK experience. If absolutely necessary I would stay again. They did offer free breakfast which is located near the check in desk but I did not have any as I had other breakfast plans in the area.

The place was nice but breakfast lowered the rating. Machines were out of order and the keurig coffee was like drinking hot water. No much fruit selection, no cream cheese for bagels. The place needs to do better to claim free breakfast.

My only complaint was that breakfast was served til 10:00, but arriving at 8:30 one day and 9:00 another, there was no hot food available (ie. eggs, bacon, sausage-the containers were all empty and no attendant to fill in). There was adequate cereal and cold eggs, but it would have been nice to have hot food options. Other than that it was a nice stay!

Everything was great except they didn't clean our room one night (we put the sign "maid service" sign on our door).

The hotel is easily accessible off Route 295, and close to downtown Freeport and Portland. Price was reasonable. The buildings are fine, all one-story and handicap accessible. Plenty of parking. However, the office is NOT marked, and very difficult to find in the dark. The overgrown/dying grass and shrubs around the buildings were very disconcerting (although we have had a long bout of very dry weather). The room was incredibly clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Towels were rough, although pretty much standard hotel quality. The shower pressure and warm water were super. That said, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach in the room.That was not so pleasant. Breakfast was included, but I chose to sleep longer. All in all, I would stay again.

Room was barely passable but the bathroom could have used a match and a can of gas!!!! It was horrible!!! Mold in shower, dirty shower floor and the shower curtain needed to be thrown in the trash. Exterior of the buildings was good….interiors were not. Did not take advantage of the breakfast as I figured if they didn’t take care of the rooms, the food prep area was probably even worse. Extremely disappointing. It feels like we got taken.
