We had a lovely studio for the two of us. I choose not to have housekeeping in when staying more than one night. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we requested towels or more coffee, etc. Very clean and cozy. Pool was wonderful. Nice kitchenette allowed us to eat some meals in spending money on special dinners out. Larger fridge a definite plus. A toaster oven would be a nice addition. Our only other suggestion is that having an accessible room due to limited mobility, the parking spaces that are in front of these rooms could be painted with the corresponding room number or sign stating "Parking for Room #__ only please" as second floor guests tend to park in your spot. We would definitely stay here again!

Handle to shower broken . Jet hard to work in door. People hanging outside in big groups at 10 pm. Made us nervous way in back dark parking lot. Will not stay again very very sketchy. Very disappointed

Outdated but clean... Staff ignored heavy drinking and disruptive guests. Lack of parking, which lead to stress on leaving property and returning with no spaces available.

Most important, it was clean and very accommodating staff. The air conditioning was working and quiet and we were extremely happy with Tidewater Inn.

Awesome place , we have been coming here for years , staff is always friendly , rooms are always clean

The staff was helpful. But the room and especially bathroom was really old and requires updating. It was not a good value.

The hotel was clean. No house cleaning unless requested ahead of time. We asked for extra towels at the front desk. The indoor pool was inaccessible because the lock was broken. The outdoor pool looked nice although we didn’t use it. The rooms were decent size, bathroom was small. Balcony was tight and we got smoke from the people smoking below us. The AC didn’t go below 66 degrees so it was not quite cool enough at night for us. The hallways have a heavy chemical smell due to the indoor pool. Our room had a good view of the marsh.

Perfectly adequate if you just need somewhere to sleep. The smell in the room wasn't pleasant or fresh. The balcony was nice overlooking the lake. The property needs some serious updates. Think blue bathroom shower and toilet years old.

Great stay. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. We would stay again

For the price on Cape Cod in the summer it’s really hard to beat this place. Indoor and outdoor pools were perfect sized. Great view from the room! Super comfortable beds! The dinner sucks tho, not even kinda worth the money.

price for nice motel. Not top of the line but perfectly fine accommodations. Best pool! Wonderful setting. Clean rooms. Loved it

The toom was clean and comfortable. The balcony had a sand bycket for cigarette butts which was confusing as it was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. The entire place was outdated. The pools were nice. The restaurant menu in the room sounded great but the menu in the restaurant was entirely different and quite limited.

This is an old-fashioned type motel, but it was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very pleasant.

Pools were great. Beds not terribly comfortable. Clean, affordable. Close to beach/shops.

Tidewater has potential to be a great Place to stay.. beautiful indoor/ outdoor pool. Attached breakfast restaurant. The grounds are beautiful and very clean. However the rooms could use some updating… please get rid of the rugs! Ceilings could be replaced.
In all the rooms were clean but old..

Nice reasonable getaway for the kids.

Beds were very comfortable, rooms were outdated but very clean and it was quiet. If you're elderly or have trouble with your knees, it may not be a good fit for you because toilets are very low. Only half of parking lot was plowed and handicapped spaces were not plowed out. The front desk clerk Charles was very courteous and helpful. All in all was a pleasant, affordable stay.

The property is older and although the furnishings and bedding were very comfortable the room itself felt old. The outside was very pretty; the location is excellent. Very easy check in. Very polite receptionist. Was able to check in early which was wonderful.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Clean. Nice pool. Retro feel. Easy to get to. Will stay again.

There was nothing in the room that listed info like the WIFI password. The phone broke so they could not here me. I had to go to office at 11PM to get password. I did NOT like having the sink in the bedroom. The decor was terrible for a Cape resort. It was like Morocan or something

I had a bad experience with the original motel I booked and ended up at tidewater in a last ditch effort to find a safer place and it was better than I could imagine.
Friendly staff, safety features, lovely pool and a bath tub. Plus with anyone like me with an EV there was a charging station nearby!
A delight. Planning on being an off season regular!

The woman at the front pointed to a map of the area to show us where our room was, but did not tell us that we had to walk around to the side to unlock the door to get inside the building. She also neglected to mention that the sliding door had a bar locking it in place. Luckily a man from upstairs saw us trying to get in and came to help. There was no microwave as advertised online.

It is a very good value. Giving its location and the fact that it is opened, I think all year round, it is a very good way for people to come down from Boston and take advantage of a couple of nice warm days in the cooler months.

Booked 3 nights for Columbus day weekend. Good location, access to an estuary in the rear of the property furnished with outdoor seating. Was a nice place to sit and have a cigar. The rooms are outdated but on Cape Cod I think that's pretty common and not an issue for our family as long is it is clean, which it was.
