The place was very nice and modern, but the Wi-Fi was terrible. It almost takes away everything else that is good (the views, the food, the attention)

We stayed at the Icon for 3 nights when we arrived in Santiago. Was refreshing to stay in a modern hotel compared to others we had stayed at during our time in Peru and Chile. Nice to have pool area but it was very small. Breakfast was good.

If you visit for some days off work and want to relax and enjoy the sun, avoid this hotel. So many better places close by.
Air cond in the room did not work, took to many calls before someone came to check. l finally got a new room with the sink by the TV, not in the bathroom, very strange.
The swimmingpool on the top was not a place to use, tiny and really just a bar place which was nice with a wonderful view.
The pool in the basement was free for 1 h and you had to book a time. No places to sit oitside and just relax.

I haven’t receive any room upgrade or vip as per my Expedia membership,my check in, room was ok, nothing outstanding. I’m ok with the staff and hotel, the staff at the restaurant at 1st floor were super nice ( all ) including the rest manager. 👌.

Terrible check in, made to pay the lo so tax and I don’t live in chile. I left my PDI form behind. I travel to chile a lot normally hotels understand if you don’t have your PDI papare with you. It’s the first time I’ve been charged for not having my lapsed in about 20 plus circumstances. The guy at the desk was ride about it also.
TV wouldn’t work properly, the Chanel's kept breaking up, no sound, the elevators take forever. We were on the 4th floor so we used the stairs most the time. Breakfast was very overpriced.

We got a corner room with fantastic views of the city and the mountains. That was amazing. One in our party had birthday during the stay, and the reception staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne. That was very generous and a pleasant surprise.

I had a great stay at the ICON hotel. The service was fantastic and the location worked perfectly for the events I was in town for. The only reason I didn’t give my stay fives across the board is because my room had colorful spotlights outside some of the windows that made clicking noises every time they changed color (red, blue, green) all night long. Even with a sleep app I could hear the clicking of the lights changing color. I also thought it was very odd that there was no full body mirror in the room at all. And, I booked through Hotels.com and with my status I typically get free early check in, a free welcome gift (small treat), or a coupon for a free drink, something along those lines. This time I paid $60 for early check in and there was no other free gift—not even a complimentary bottle of water which typically comes standard with hotel stays.
I still had a great stay—the service was great, room was clean, and the location was great so I’d recommend it.

This is 2 to 3 star hotel. Smells horrid everywhere you go like if you where living inside a Fried Chicken Joint.
Human hair in the bathroon. No complimentary water and instant coffee. Bad taste in decoration though the facilities has a lot of potential. Never going back.
