Great location
Very fancy hotel
The breakfast is very good.
But the Internet is horrible! very very slow and they charge you if you want faster Internet.
Their elevators are very packed in the morning and it takes more than five minutes to go up or down

Our overall experience was great. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are older and not well maintained.

This is my second stay at the Melia Paulista. It is located in a vibrate safe area, very close tomthe Jardim Paulista neighbourhood. Outstanding restaurants and shopping. It you want to use the subway, the station is right infront of hotel. The room was nicely appointed and maintained. Good shower. Bed was comfortable. I will stay here again.

The hotel is very well located on Avenida Paulista. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The only problem was that the keys were damaged, but at reception they fixed them immediately.

I've been here before and loved the place except the Internet was slow when using a vpn. However since then they've improved their internet dramatically and now it is my favorite place in Sao Paulo to stay. I'll most likely be back multiple times

This is my second time staying at Melia Paulista and it's a wonderful hotel, perfectly located near everything and the staff are stellar. This time I was in a renovated room and it was far better than the old ones!
I used the pool and the reflexology service and that was a wonderful experience.
It is qualified as a 5-star and it may be in South American standards but not for North Americans. There's nothing wrong with the hotel, it's just that guests need to understand the difference. For instance, the towels are a rough (but do a great job at exfoliating!), there isn't a full array of amenities like hand cream, body lotion and a box of tissue. The quirkier thing is not having a small dish to leave the hand soap so you have to leave the wet soap on the counter - it's a bit weird!
Regardless of these minor things, this is a wonderful hotel with the most delicious breakfast, and I look forward to returning to eat more pão de queijo!

The hotel is well located, people are nice, however I do Not recommend it because the wifi service is terrible. Signal quality was really bad in my room and they charge for it.
There are many hotels in the area that don't charge for wifi and have good signal.

I spent two nights and overall wasn’t a good experience. I had to work remotely- internet didn’t work. I paid 30BRL (fee to get a high speed internet) and it simply didn’t work. It affected my work performance. Housekeeping didn’t replace towels even though I left it on the floor. Robe offered smelled bad. Called receptionist and request water - it took them 2 hours to deliver it - I called multiple times inquiring about it. They said that because I had “do not disturb on they would not knock on the door”. Why wait 2 hours and multiple requests to say that? Not to mention that the day before during my work meeting someone knocked on the door (with the do not disturb sign on) to deliver a food that I DIDN’T EVEN REQUESTED! Charge high rates and poor customer service.
