Convenient quiet lodging in Palmer/Wasilla area. Kitchenette makes it super user friendly if you are working and meal times vary.

The room we got had a little bedroom and it has a kitchen with a mini stove so your not stuck with microwave meals or eating out, you can actually cook a dinner for you and yours.could easily spend weeks there with little issue

We stayed for a quick sports trip, so the kitchenette was helpful and it was nice having enough sleeping room for the whole family.

This property is dilapidated and is overdue a refurbishment by 20 years. There were red stains on the curtains.

this property sits about 15 feet from the highway with busy traffic all night long. The bathroom was horrible, the shower handle had to be held in to turn on and off along with getting the temperature correct. Each time you flushed the toilet you had to take lid off and release the handle to stop the water from running. There was no stopper in the sink.
In the kitchenette, you couldn't use the stove if you wanted to, the burners were tilted. Glad this was only a stop for one night.

Could not get heat regulated. Had to sleep with windows open it was so hot. We tried to adjust to heat with no results. Person at desk didn’t help when I called.

This more of a residential area. The accommodation was solid. I appreciated the caretaker letting us know that the office closed at 11 pm as we were a late check in.

Moderately priced, clean establishment with good amenities. Ideal for our family stay to attend to medical visits.

Dilapidated apartment building made into a motel. Was so bad we didn’t stay and didn’t get credit for the room.

On a VERY NOISY main road and windows are not at all soundproof. Mirror on closet cracked, vent cover falling off in bathroom, sheets stained (think permanent), no headboards so can’t sit up and read or watch tv. Full refrigerator. Mini coffee pot. No toaster. No wine glasses. Found hair in tub and on pillow when we checked in. On a positive note the bed was comfy.

The room was clean. There was some traffic noise. There is no lobby, just an office for check in. It was inexpensive and worked well enough for our one night stay. The hairdryer in our room did not work. I would have appreciated a breakfast bar.

I will start off with the positives, the staff was really friendly and it's a short drive to Palmer and downtown Wasilla. The room had plenty of space, and having a small kitchen is nice. Now the not so nice. The walls are thin enough that you can hear people talking in normal voices next door. The curtains were covered in stains, which made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The couch also had stains on it, I wouldn't sit on it. The microwave and bathroom sink were both covered in rust. With the AC vent in the window, it kept the window open so that you could hear the road noise, and it's a busy street that is maybe 50ft away. It was very loud. The heat was off for the summer, so they offered us electric heaters if we got cold. There was also no flip lock on the inside of the door, we went and purchased an extra lock to make the door more secure. We won't be back.

I'm not sure that they're ready to call this a motel. No sign, for a start, just a house number at one end of the building. The office was a table in the linen storage room, manned by a young man who couldn't figure out how to fix the reservation for the 2 young men ahead of me. (They had reserved a room with 2 beds, and arrived to be offered 1 bed.)
They let me in, and signed me up for a room on the second floor, but my key card didn't work. No reaction from the lock, at all. When I came back down, the manager had arrived, and she gave me the key to a first floor room. That key card triggered the lock lights, but the latch didn't open the door. She sent the young man back with me to demonstrate how to press my thumb against the key lock while turning the handle to retract the bolt. That worked. It wasn't how the latch was designed, just a defect in that particular one.
The room was fine, though I had spent so much time getting into it that I gave up on buying groceries for dinner, and just went to bed.
The young man who first tried to check me in was coughing and complained that he was sick. Scary for an old guy 2000 miles from home on a solo road trip, but I didn't catch it.

Was skeptical of property when I first arrived when I could not find the front desk because I questioned the open door that had a desk that had laundry around and did not assume at first it was where I would need to check in, but second time going into the building it was the correct place to be to check in. While checking in I have them my name and my ID and also verified that I booked thru Expedia. They a pulled the form and looked over it to make sure they had the correct form, I was then asked to write my number down, initial next to the disclosures, and sign. Several hours later at about 9:30pm in bed and with tired kids, someone knocked at the door. Husband answered and was told I signed the wrong form and told to come to the office to verify my information. Husband went to the office with two other customers there and he said they were obviously upset and said on the lines sarcastically “ as long as the kids have somewhere to sleep.” My husband didn’t say anything and the employee let him know they will switch the rooms. I take responsibility that I didn’t look at the top of the form for my information and trusted the employee when he initially looked at the form when I gave him my info to check in. Although there was no responsibility taken for there part in it and knocking on the door late at night, appreciate they did not have us move rooms in the middle of the night. The room was rundown, curtains dirty, and could hear vehicles thru the night, messy
hallway.

Reasonable value for money. Really it is a studio appt converted to a hotel. Liked that it had a kitchen. Liked it was a bit off the beaten path but still close to freeway and shopping. Water was leaking onto the floor from an unknown source. Needs some
updating. Fine for a night passing through.

We had a short one night stay here. The room had a nice mini kitchenette, which we only used for breakfast. The staff was very nice. Our room was on the roadside and was a bit noisey.
