The Pilatus is a hotel you will never forget! You are literally on top of the world! The staff was great. The rooms were fabulous. The view is breathtaking. Dinner was way beyond our expectations. I will never forget the soup. And our waitress was superior! Very well worth every penny.

Staff was the greatest ever! Room was great! Dining was awesome!
It's sort of a once in a lifetime place to stay
During dinner we were entertained by fighting ibexes.
On the way down the mountain, via cog train, pronged horn deer were only feet away.
Great experience

Hidden gem! We picked it completely randomly and were pleasantly surprised by the spectacular views, sunset and hiking trails.

Staying here is an experience. We arrived mid-day and worked our way up the mountain spending some time at the mountain coaster and having a mountainside beer at the mid-station. We headed up and had a very seamless check-in. We stayed in the Pilatus section ( not Bellevue) and the room was very clean, functional and well decorated. The bed was super comfortable. Our 12 year old slept on pullout couch which was all set up on arrival.
To take advantage of the weather we went for a nice hike to the summit and came back to enjoy a drink on the patio as the day-visitors slowly headed down the mountain.
We enjoyed a great dinner with friendly service in the dining room followed by an evening hike during sunset then watching the stars. It feels like you are the only people on the mountain.
After a great sleep with the windows open we had breakfast and headed down.
Overall, a very unique and one-of-a-kind experience. I highly recommend to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay at this unique property! We took the cogwheel train to the top of the mountain & were pleasantly greeted with a cup of tea and helpful clerk. We found our room simple and clean. The cafeteria meal was full of comfort foods. After hiking the Matthorn path from the hotel, we were treated to a delicious Swiss dinner in the old hotel. The vibe was relaxed and laid-back, just as we wanted. To return, we took the convenient gondolas down to Lucerne. Despite the clouds and rain, it was a superb experience.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Pilatus Kulm Hotel! Truly stunning views from the top of the mountain and the journeys up and down on the cogwheel train and cable cars were incredible. There are multiple stops along to routes up and down the onto stop and hike or eat at a restaurant. Lucerne is beautiful and a great place to walk around and grab lunch. We had a suite at the Pilatus Kulm and it was spacious and beautiful! A wonderful multi-night stay before heading to Grindelwald for the second leg of our trip.

This hotel is about the location. It is mesmerizingly awesome. Like something you see in the movies. The hotel itself is older and needs updating but the room was clean, and the bed was very good. This is an experience, and one you really won't forget.

We wanted something remote, away from people, noise and crowds, just a place to relax, read a book in peace, do some hiking and enjoy the scenery.
We got that and so much more, it was absolutely breathtaking and serene. The best part is in the evenings when the mountain is closed to public.
Everyone there was so nice and helpful, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Visiting Mt Pilatus is one thing, but staying on the property after all of the other tourists leave around 5 PM is a truly incredible experience. There is dinner served for hotel guests with the ability to catch an amazing sunset and moon rise all from the same spot. We hope to be back!

Good evening meal and breakfast. Ambiance could be improved. Standard room only 1 chair, German, French and Italian channels only, only CNN in English. Bed not great and room no charm.

One of the best hotel we have stayed there. Beautiful place to enjoy both sun-rise and sun-set as well as stargazing. We also could see ibexes in the morning. The staff was very friendly and polite and the dinner which was included the package was very delicious. We totally recommend this hotel. Thank you.
