Dated, but worth what I paid for, towels and bed were clean, it’s all I ask for pretty much!

Great for one night stay. Owners were very polite and clear with information. Bed was newer. Washroom could be next on list of upgrades needed. On site restaurant was open and looked lively, although since someone reviewed it wasn't open on their previous visit we had already eaten elsewhere.
The owner said they cleaned my room with vinegar as i have sensitivity to animals and cigarette smoke, which was very kind. They took the extra time to acknowledge my note.

It was ok for a night stay on our trip home. Just off the highway so very convenient. Looks like the owners have just bought the property and are slowly upgrading the place.

Everything was wonderful except the bathroom and it’s hard to ignore such an important thing in a review. The tub was rusty. The curtain looked dirty and rusty. The toilet seat was off its hinges and as someone who had just spent 2 months nursing a badly broken wrist and had just had the cast removed, I was horrified when I almost fell of the toilet.
The sink was out in the main room which was clean and everything else was fine. But to have paid any amount for a room with a bathroom that was virtually unusable is definitely disappointing. We will not return or recommend.

I would stay there again but would be prepared for a little older than I first thought. Mostly a good stop. Not excellent and not bad.

A very nice welcome by the owner, excellent recommendation for dining. Somewhat outdated but new beds and clearly hardworking family will do well. Location off highway is very good.

This is a typical older roadside otel. Good inexpensive place to spend the night. Very nice, friendly and great owners.

A family owned motel, very reminiscent of those that my family stayed in during the 1969s, when we would travel. Mom and Pop operation. A lovely quiet setting, nice grounds with lawns and perennials planted with care. Clean and has been updated by new owners. Not a chain motel and that suits me fine!

The cleaner they use in the rooms, or spray, I should say, is too strong unless they are masking an odour. I had to take allergy pills and leave the door open to help alleviate the strong smells. I could not use the pool as there were no stairs to get into pool, only a ladder, which doesn’t help if you have mobility issues.
The owners are wonderful people, and when they finish their renovations, I’m sure it will be nicer facilities.

The owner is obviously a hands on man and always had a sincere smile, I suspect he will go far. Kudos to Ali

La Roma Motel is our go-to for travelling from Toronto to PEI. New owners bought the place last year, and have done some upgrading...i.e. landscaping, headboards, etc. The beds are super comfortable. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. We will be back next year for our 5th stay!

Stream on property with large lawn was great.Comfortable beds Difficulty reulating water temperature in the shower.

For one night it was comfortable and clean. The beds were hard for us and the wifi was weak to nonexistent. I wish the restaurant had been open and hope it works out for them in the future. We would stay here again.

Decent motel, but a bit worn-looking -- stains in sink & tub, very basic "essentials", reception/check-in in a house down the hill (hard to tell where), nothing nearby (have to drive to next exit for restaurants, as theirs is not open). Nice coffee maker in room, good wifi, TV, and a/c.

It is an older motel but the price was very good. The beds were firm but comfortable, good pillows. Very clean and friendly staff. Convenient location, most things were only a short drive.

The property is a short distance off the Trans Canada. It sits aside a small stream. They have a outdoor pool, picnic area, fire pit and more. La Roma will always be our go to choice whenever we need accommodations in the Edmundston area.

Expedia continues in failing to update their information about the Hotel/Motels. Once again No Restaurant even though Expedia tells us that there is one.

It’s a cute little motel tucked away in small town New Brunswick but very few dining options.

You were awesome for me and my family. I would stay with you again and recommend your Motel to my family and friends if they were travelling down east from Ontario.

Staff was very friendly, and check in was smooth. Property had a river/stream and picnic tables. The bathroom door was closed and bathroom smelled of urine. Air conditioner hardly worked so room was hot. Paid $312 for pet friendly, so in my opinion overpriced with no breakfast.
