Beautiful place to stay in Antwerp. With just 15 rooms a small but very nice hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel overlooking the marina and MAS museum. It's a 15 min walk to the main Grote Markt area. Hotel has a nice bar area and restaurant, although we did not use the restaurant. The continental breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Our room was comfortable and had a well stocked mini bar. One little niggle was there were not enough lights in the room. We were staying in March when it went dark around 6.30pm so it was very difficult to see at times and we had to use the torch on our phones. We appreciate that they are trying to make a cosy ambience but an option of a centre light or even lamps would be helpful. The stairwell was also very dark. But overall an appealing hotel with helpful staff, so would definitely recommend.

This is a truly boutique hotel of the highest quality. IThe staff were, without exception, amazing. As a US business traveler, woman, no second language, jet- lagged so up at ridiculous hours .. there was always a friendly face… and the offer of a cup of coffee. Be sure to dine there.. an make a reservation.. you will not regret it.

When I booked my stay at U eat n Sleep I had high expectations because one tends to associate a 4* rating with a certain level of standards. Unfortunately my experience was very disappointing, and the underhanded reaction of the staff to my concerns broke the confidence I had in the place.
The facts : the staff was friendly (although a little difficult to get a hold onto), the hotel is ideally located, and the rooms are generally very comfortable. The check-in experience was a bit too minimalistic for my taste but that's still fine. The real issue were the big oversights in the cleanliness of the room.
At first I had only noticed the green goo that was covering one of the showerheads, before realizing that there were also leftover crumbs of tortilla chips on the floor, a piece of broken glass by one of the nightstands, a torn sheet on the bed, and other multiple spots of insufficient cleaning. Taken individually those details could have been forgiveable. But after notifying the reception about these various issues - which, quite frankly, are serious misgivings on the part of an establishment in the hospitality business which doesn't market itself as a youth hostel - it took the staff 2 days (and 3 complaints / sending pictures in total) for the room to finally get properly cleaned. After having taken so long to fix the problem, it would have been considerate of them to leave an apology note in the room, or to offer a drink, just something to make a guest feel welcome...

We wanted to be far from the Antwerp tourist crowds, and this stylish hotel accomplishes that, situated in the revitalising area near the MAS. The rooms are pricey but stylish. Since it is only a few stories tall, guests will hear noise from the cafe downstairs well into the evening. We arrived after the check-in time to be told that our room was not ready, but a few calls later we got in so the initial inconvenience was overcome. Antwerp has gotten pricier and this hotel is keen to keep that trend going up, winning you with a snobby chic trend setting vibe rather than a modern affordable elegance vibe.

Really nice hotel but they should have warned about the loud buildings works taking place, especially that they started early on the weekend.

I was in this hotel for a long work stay, almost a week. It could get really depressing, but this hotel made it much more pleasant! Beautiful and interesting interior design, nice staff, great food, and a big ol bathtub. It had all the comforts and was quite affordable considering them. It's in a very lively part of town, so be prepared to sleep with earplugs if you are on the street side.
