Hotel looked beautiful on entering the grounds. Checkin was unremarkable. Shown to room which was on the ground floor. Quite dark. Bed very low and both of us had trouble getting in and out. Small en-suite bathroom. It was a very hot day and night. We were on ground level with French doors to the patio. We couldn’t leave our doors open all night for security so neither of us got much sleep. Two teabags and two coffee pods no milk and a list of items in the room was left on the dresser, not sure if this was deliberate to ‘remind us not to take anything’!Small swimming pool booked out until 7pm. We did not eat in the hotel. Check out- my husband stood at the desk whilst the receptionist carried on her conversation with the cleaners. Not impressed. This hotel could be so good. It is trying but not quite getting there.

What a lovely place and hotel. This is not a Hilton. That’s what we loved. The room was huge. Ours supported with 12 inch wooden beams.
The underground pool is such a surprise. Perfect for a late dip or a way to start your day in the supplied robes and slippers.
Breakfast was great.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The building looked amazing and very nicely furnished inside.
The woman on the front desk was doing it all herself…I hope she’s the owner but an extra pair of hands would be better for the costumer’s.
Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was absolutely awful!
On the other hand the food was amazing!!
Overall 8/10

We spent 10 days driving and staying in different places around Brittany, mostly on the coast, I kept seeing the Manoir on searches and eventually decided it would be our 'treat'. Boy was it a treat. We loved it. Beautiful grounds, sadly we didn't have the best weather to enjoy them but luckily we were able to chill in the room and pool. Whilst I was nervous having the House Menu as I'm a bit of a picky eater, I was so pleased I did, it was all delicious. We will definitely return. Thank you

It was a wonderful surprise when we pulled into this lovely manor. We were upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival. The pool in the basement was extraordinary! We had dinner at the hotel but didn’t really care for most of the meal. It was a bit too upscale for our Canadian palate. The staff was fabulous and did everything to help. I would certainly go back.

We used this hotel for a 2-day stop over and found it positioned off the road in a wooded area with no traffic noise at all.
We did not eat at the hotel at all as town so close.

We stayed at the Manoir Hotel des Indes twice in one week, once at the beginning and once at the end of a week spent at a french Chateau celebrating my father's ninetieth birthday with twelve of his closest friends. About eight of us stayed at this attractive hotel which is set in extremely pretty gardens just outside Quimper. The owners couldn't be more charming or helpful. Due to my father's age, the owner insisted on personally ferrying us to Quimper for lunch and then picking us up afterwards. They wouldn't even hear of us taking a taxi! The breakfast was extemely good and dinner was of the highest quality, foie gras, sea bass and then a superb and colourful dessert plate. The Relais du Silence Manoir Hotel des Indes is really the only hotel with character to stay in if you are visiting Quimper and I would highly recommend it.

Pleasant staff but property in pretty rough shape. Avoid the dinner...hard to get a bad meal in France but they managed to serve one. Its out of the village so not really convenient either

We were told not to speak as it was a silent hotel. Hence guests did not speak, staff crept around. Our totally silent breakfast was completely self service, we never saw hotel staff and a huge silent television dominated the room with a grim repetitive news programme. The only noise came from the grunts of a badly handicapped girl.
The bathroom's walls were more like a screen as they didn't go to the ceiling so all activities could be heard by your partner in the room, it was designed for disabled people so the shower flooded most of the room.
The room was very dark with very little cupboard space.

Staff is very gracious and helpful but property needs attention. We stayed in the ground floor Jr. Suite and while it has a lovely little patio, the room is incredibly dark. Towels were very worn, bed uncomfortable, shower head broken and water pressure very poor. Breakfast is way overpriced.
