Bed too soft. Not comfortable. Old. Blinds do not cover all the areas so lights come in from the streets.

Room was decent, unfortunately water had a strong sulphur smell but otherwise good place to stay with nice location.

Emilia at the front desk was super helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. She answered all my questions from places to eat to sightseeing places that we wanted to visit. Hotels need more people like her at their front counters.

Bathrooms smelled a lot and even water was impure which is rare in iceland.

The only issue was the noise as it’s close to the highway other than that the hotel was great

The service was very good, the person at the counter was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and had many options for guests to enjoy. The bread was delicious! However, we had to book 2 rooms for a family of 5 and it was pricy for the quality of the rooms. The rooms were smelly, especially the warm water smelled strongly of sulfur (but not so in the other hotels we stayed), the wallpaper was peeling of the walls and the room just didn't give a clean, updated look. It was definitely an older hotel. The beds were very hard, each bed had only one pillow that was very flat. In general the beds were uncomfortable. No fridge or microware was provided in the room. Even though this hotel was cheaper than the other hotels we stayed at in Iceland, I would not book with them again.

We stayed only one night there before taking our early morning flight. It is a basic hotel. But the shower was broken and soap dispenser was not functioning. No time to call to change these issues. Just slept and left. Could have had a better experience.

Staff & service was excellent.
Bathroom - Towel rack is much too high unless a person is over 6 feet tall.
We don't like a wet room shower, half of the floor has to be mopped up after a shower.
No place to hang a hand towel after using once to dry hands.
Face cloths would be nice.

A lot of noise outside until very late. Someone was power washing very late. I know that it stays light for a long time in Iceland but seriously some of us had to get up at 5am to catch our flight

The staff was nice, no shade to them. The hotel seems old. Carpet in rooms is musty. The windows do not open and there is no AC, so its muggy and warm. The little table fan helped. The water has a heavy sulphur odor.....fine at the blue lagoon, not so much for shower and coffee. Bathroom lights flicker, remote control battery died....Not the end of the world but by far our worst stay in Iceland and the Faroe islands over the trip...Much better options out there.
