Our interaction with Janet and Guy, the owners, was truly delightful. Janet prepared an incredible breakfast, and Guy's guidance on local wineries and point of interests was very helpful. The really go out of their way to accomodate guests. The property was immaculate and provided a secure and clean environment. Without a doubt, it was a memorable and worthwhile experience. Stayed there one night.

Enjoyed our stay at Matisse Bed & Breakfast and had 2 perfect days in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Janet was very friendly and informative about local attractions, wineries, and restaurants. She is a gourmet chef, and we had terrific breakfast each morning.

We loved our 5 night stay at Matisse. Janet is super knowledgeable about the area attractions and has a wealth of tips on wineries to visit & how to get to them . Both E bikes & pedal bikes right nearby. There is a convenience store across the street with a huge variety of groceries & sundries. It is just over a km to walk to Queen St where the quaint shops & restaurants are. The breakfasts are large, tasty & innovative! You won’t need to have lunch till mid afternoon!

We loved this B & B! Meticulously clean, comfortable bed and an amazing host who made the best breakfast. The location is easy walking distance to the heart of town. I will say the room we stayed in had windows facing the road- which is very noisy, esp as night. And the shower would be a very tight squeeze for any larger person. These were not issues for us really, but thought the info might help the next person choose a room. Would definitely come back for another stay!

We loved our stay at Matisse & highly recommend it to others. The was very charming, clean & comfortable. Janet provided an amazing breakfast..I'd love to have the recipes! The back gardens were perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The location was great for walking or biking into town. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider coming back for 2 or more nights in the future.

The breakfasts were excellent and each unique. Every need is addressed without asking: coffee kitchenette, angled mirror, night light showing the way to bathroom. Appreciated the personal info about parking and other community notes and the personalized quality toiletries. Loved it.

Janet and Guy were AMAZING hosts. So friendly, kind, informative, beautiful home and neighborhood. Food was terrific, way above and beyond. We felt "Connected " to Janet from first sight. We are so thankful we chose this destination for part of our dream " 25th anniversary trip- 3 years late". Guy is fun to listen to being a Frenchman, and personality is contagious. A must go.to and well worth place to stay. The bed was comfortable and almost like home. Amenities were terrific. Sad they are trying to sell it.

We had a great stay. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. It is very close to everything that Niagara on the Lake has to offer. The breakfasts were unbelievable ... we haven't eaten that well in a long time. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back.

My wife and I traveled to NOTL for a "getaway" and to attend a show. Matisse was an excellent choice for our trip; clean and welcoming ! It was conveniently located for our needs and, we were pointed in a great direction for eating out, shopping, and yummy gelato! The breakfast for our stay was tasty, warm, and (important to me) came with a bottomless cup of coffee! Bravo!
