Not only were my neighbors screaming into the night, the noise of the elevator was constant all through every night. The bed was so uncomfortable that im still in pain a week later. I slept horribly the entire time i was there.

Room and stay was quite comfortable but the staff are inexperienced and not helpful.
I forgot my car key at the front desk while checking in.
The next morning when I enquired about it they denied having found the key and didn't even bother to check the front desk area or the lost and found.
Later in the day I went back to the hotel travelling hours taking time from my vacation to check and they handed me the key and apologized and said someone found it last night.
The morning staff could have saved hours of my time .

The hotel was nice, but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the room was freezing which was nice on the really hot days, but only one blanket made sleeping uncomfortable because we were freezing. I didn’t realize how far everything was from the hotel. Its great that it’s right on the STFX campus, but Walmart and superstore were a 30 minute walk away, so if you don’t have a vehicle like us it was quite challenging as we were there for a week. However Sobeys and some fast food restaurants were only about a 10-15 minute walk away which is much better, but we needed to get a sweater and some sweatpants from Walmart to compensate for the cold room. Expedia stated that there was a shared kitchen, but we weren’t able to find it so had to rely on microwaveable food and meals which really sucked and made for not so nice a stay. Would have been nice if there was at least a hot plate, but given that it is on a university campus, it makes sense that there isn’t one. The tv didn’t hook up to anything so we couldn’t watch anything which made the stay very boring. Overall, it did what was required, the staff was pleasant, the atmosphere was fine. If there was at least a thermostat in the room to control the temperature it would have be much more enjoyable. It was just so cold from the AC.

What a gorgeous place to stay while on vacation. Very low price, 125$. Would need to pay 225$ in big names places to get same quality. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay during a camp at the university. The only bit of an inconvenience is the A/C can’t be controlled in each room.

It was a unique travel experience. If we are to stay again, I would ask not to be next to the elevator. It was so loud.

I stay here for the IWK 250 at Riverside Speedway and my only complaint is how absolutely hard & uncomfortable the beds are. It honestly feels like I'm sleeping on rocks. For what students pay for tuition & $200 a night for a room in the summer, it would be nice to have decent mattresses. That's my only complaint but because of the absolutely terrible beds, I am going to have to find a new place to stay every summer.

Can't beat the price. Great amenities in room. Wish the AC had stayed on during the night.

It was a dorm room. Clean but very basic and noisy. Absolutely nothing interesting or special other than to see the campus grounds.
6.0 / 10.0
Very good price for the room made up for a few deficiencies. The pool was closed (that was extremely disappointing since that's the primary reason I booked a room here), the gym was closed, the TV in my room didn't work. The way the staff described the pool and gym being closed they made it sound like it was part of a summer renovation. If that's the case, please update your Expedia listing and not reference those amenities.
Would I stay here again, maybe.
