Fabulous riad! Hamid and Aziz are the main staff and they are Bothe fabulous. They went out of their way to get me some medicines when I was not feeling well and prepared them for me! The breakfast is phenomenal and I ate dinner in the Riad twice and it was amazing! There is no elevator, but this is typical of Riads. Fortunately, the young men are strong and could carry my bags up. The rooftop has an exceptional view.

It was an amazing looking Riad I had a beautiful big room! Aziz, Hamid the staff there were amazing, they couldn't do enough! The medina is not far from the Riad as well, and if you book tours, all tour groups ask you meet at the nearby Hotel Andilab. I got a taxi everywhere as everything was quite far, as the Blue Gate is around 30 minutes walk! Cost of taxis are not very expensive. There is many places to eat around the Riad and the staff will help you to where you want to go.As a solo female traveller, I found it safe!

Exceptional Riad. Absolutely stunning. My greeting by the two young men was fantastic and stay was great . Almost. We had a BIG hiccup upon my
Exit which I’ll accept partial responsibility for. When I booked with hotels.com, unknown to me my credit card was just a pre-auth for holding the room. I always pay ahead of time and did not realize the payment hadn’t been made by full already. Anyways, issues with the credit machine and I had to catch my ride to a 2 day tour. After multiple tries annd no luck with the machine , ( I was asked FOuR times..”don’t you have cash”, angrily had to go to the atm and withdraw cash putting me further behind as well as the advance fee from the machine which in total cost me an extra $20. I only
Book hotels that accept cards normally as I don’t like carrying around large sums of cash as a solo female traveller. Having paper trails of receipts is also ideal if you have an insurance claim. Anyways, overall great but a frustrating end to the stay. Also I saw a poor review regarding the stairs . Yep they’re narrow and difficult, but heads up yuppy travellers. There aren’t elevators in riads. If you have mobility issues, you’ll probably want to book a hotel but you’re missing out on authentic charm!

This wonderful place is located in a tiny alley, just off the main road in the heart of the medina. If you arrive by plane, you can ask the driver to call the Riad. Someone will then pick you up at the main road. All the main sites of the medina are in walking distance. A delicious breakfast is served every morning. On our final day we had to leave early in order to catch the bus. They prepared us a breakfast package to take away. There is an excellent restaurant (Almandar) close to the Riad. Be aware that most of the rooms are located upstairs. There is no elevator and the stairs are rather steep. Overall, I highly recommend this wonderful place.

This was a great stay, the room was much bigger than expected, the breakfast was filling, the beds were comfortable, the location was great as it was very close to where taxis can drop off and the wifi was great. The only negative was the shower - the water pressure was almost non existent when you wanted hot water and this wasn’t seen as an issue by staff unfortunately. Besides that, for the price, couldn’t fault it.

The moment I stepped inside the riad is full of surprises!!! The location is wonderful and it is an easy access from the main street. The staffs are extremely helpful and they made me feel like home. Pictures can't justify how beautiful the riad is and it makes you feel like you travel back in times. I would totally recommend this raid to anyone who travel to Fes!

The staff was very warm and welcoming! We had a tour the next morning and were leaving before breakfast started so they made sure we had freshly squeezed orange juice and cake before we left. Rooms were big and clean. My only complaint would be the lighting in the room but that is a minor issue. I would highly recommend this riad

Great location and typical Morrocan style Riad. Free upgrade from the small reserved to the suite room. However, the shower wasn't fully clean and the bathroom maintenance wasn't the best. Overall it was cold in the main entrance and hall way (had to have breakfast with a coat on). Staff were kind, however, we never got a receipt for the city tax and the first second we reached they tried to sell us pricy tours.

Very good hotel in Moroc. It just located next to the road, we ask taxi driver stop just in front of it. It is a good news after long transportation from Sahara! And I just take 5min walk can arrive Medina.
It is a beautiful traditional Riad and I can see entire Medina view at the roof.
Staffs are very polite and friendly, it is totally different from the peoples in Medina :-p I feel safe when stay there, and they can provide VERY GOOD Moroccan food!
Regretted is Riad in Moroc usually doesn't has elevator, pick my heavy luggage up to 3rd floor is quite difficulty. And the wifi doesn't cover, so I had to go down to lobby for internet. And drainage in bathroom is not that good, I felt standing in fountain every night.
Overall it's good accommodation during my Moroc trip, recommended.

We stayed 2 nights in this Riad and it was good. The location is excellent. It is right outside of the Medina, and only a 1 minute walk from the road. Also there are cafes & shops close by.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good.
The only critique I have is that the room was very small, we were three adults, and there was hardly any room to put our luggage and move around. Other than that, its a good place to stay while visiting Fez.
