This is a unique farm state property. The rooms are very nice updated comfortable with the most basic amenities. Bathroom items are good quality, plenty of robes and towels. Lots of lizards on property and we got one in our room, but it was no problem. They push you right out at check out and if you stay a little bit extra, they want more money which I found is common on the islands around here and 10am is too early and doesnot seem too friendly when you have a little baby and you’re making multiple trips to the car. They serve pastry fruit and coffee for breakfast for nine dollars, but I never got it because they serve the plate of fruit open uncovered waiting for a guest to have breakfast and there were mats all around and that was a turn off for me to not buy the breakfast either day if they would just cover the fruit I probably would’ve bought the breakfast because there is no food in this part of the island except for the shack next-door and it’s not open for breakfast. No, on the shack, there are sand fleas, and wear bug spray we got bit up. We got a lot of bites on this part of the island as opposed to sapphire beach. I went to the nomads bar a little further down from shack when I first got there before check-in and the tattooed bartender girl was complaining to everyone about her tips seemed very unhappy. She needs to not be a bartender if someone can pass that comment along she was very rude. Take her out of the picture and the nomad space is really cool.

Me and my husband were celebrating our 25-year anniversary. The Hudeaway Hull Bay was absolutely amazing. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room setup was beautiful. The staff even surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the room to celebrate which was very appreciative.

This property is beautiful- rooms are great! However- they have absolutely no provisions - no place to pick up water, milk- anything. Nothing in room accept coffee or tea/ no creamer. It would be so much better if they had a little store on property to get snacks, drinks, etc. there is nowhere walkable to get this stuff. The Shack is great but not open Sunday and Mondays and does not open until 11.Very expensive to taxi- $100 to airport- not far away but taxi drivers don’t come here

Nice property in a beautiful location! Everything was as described, except the pictures of this place couldn’t possibly do it justice. Warm, calm water, friendly locals, and the sunset was amazing!

Hideaway Hull Bay Estate was amazing! Clean, private, safe, intimate, amazing dinner on Thursday night and attentive Chef for our daughter with dietary restrictions. The ONLY complaint we had on our trip had nothing to do with The Hideaway...the locals at the beach were NOT friendly and you could tell they didn't want us there. After 3 VERY negative interactions, we spent our time with the resort or in tourist areas where customer service and kindness were everywhere. We would ABSOLUTELY return to Hideaway, but limit trying to be friendly to anyone on the beach.

Exactly as described in the pictures. Has a very good restaurant right next to it called The Shack. Beach is right next to the property with access to beach chairs and towels. Overall a good stay.
Would have loved if they had a small coffee shop on the premises with extended hours.

The location of the property, Hull Bay, is unique and beautiful in itself. The property is inviting and serene and gives one a feeling of relaxing and really disconnecting from hecticness. The gardens really accentuate that feeling. I would return again, hopefully in the near future.

Absolutely GORGEOUS property! The plants, trees, and vegetation throughout the property are a sight to be seen. The distance to the beach is perfect and love the two bars and restaurants located close by as they do not offer on demand room service.
Pro tip is that you need to rent a car in order to stay here unless you want to only be at this property and not leave. Last tip - bring extra snacks and drinks because it’s impossible to get anything there after 9pm!
Overall an amazing place to stay, modern, with incredible wildlife and plant life. (:

We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this property it really was very clean and safe we would have liked to have at least a midweek cleaning without having to pay. It is a hands off facility you have to be self sufficient! We loved the beach here it is amazing would recommend this place over and over!!! Can’t wait to come back! Bungalow style, really needs a table and kitchenette to cook a little will definitely need to get groceries and snacks due to location other than that we had everything we needed!! There wasn’t a lot going on due to the time of year but we were cool with that! Absolutely Amazing!!!

The property is indeed a hideaway. So much so, you have a really hard time finding it. There is no signage and when you eventually call for directions, they direct you to The Shack and tell you they are next door to it. They do send check-in instructions that have some assistance with directions, but only send these an hour before check in.
Also, if you’re scared of driving on the left side of the road and up and down steep hills…
This was like staying in an airbnb in a community of airbnbs. You can text or call a number for assistance but if you need anything more than extra towels or to unclog your shower you’re kinda on your own.
While we were there, cockroaches, ants and mosquitoes were rampant, and though they came to spray one day, it didn’t deter them. It was like we went glamping.
For the last 3 nights of our 5 night stay there was a “community event” which blasted music at 75decibels (we checked an app) and when we asked the staff when we could expect it to be finished, they responded rudely, telling us that we should embrace the “local culture” and go have a drink at The Shack (which is their overpriced establishment) where you pay $22 for a 12” pizza.
Upside: Chef Risa and the farm to table meal was AMAZING! Definitely do it even though it’s crazy expensive. The pool was also great.
In sum: It’s not worth the money. Stay in Magens Bay - you’re gonna pay the same but the beaches are better (no rocks or drunk locals) and better restaurants.
