Sapana Garden was fine for what it is, a no frills inexpensive hotel in Thamel. The hot water and a/c work, so can't ask for much more than that. The room is basic with no creature comforts. The breakfast was quite good, actually. Potatoes with garlic was delicious. Good location if you can find it--it's tucked away between two streets. It does the job, as long as you don't expect too much.

The hotel is wonderful and the staff are very helpful and willing to help in any way they can. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great in the middle of “Thamel”. There are bars, shops, and restaurants around. Highly recommended!

We just returned from a fabulous Nepal tour. We were traveling with our group and loved the location and vibe of the hotel. There were tons of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes right outside, and museums/parks within a short walk. The rooms were very comfortable. Despite being in the center of a vibrant neighborhood, it was very quiet at night. Carmen went above and beyond in helping us to schedule a half-day guided tour of Kathmandu and was extremely kind and attentive--he made us feel welcome and well cared for. And Narayan enthusiastically helped us select some amazing shopping. Overall a wonderful experience--we will be back!

Despite being in the middle of the city, the hotel is incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it an ideal place to stay for those who want to escape the noise and chaos of city life. The beds at Hotel Sapana Garden are without a doubt the most comfortable ones you'll find in the area. After a long day of exploring the city, you'll look forward to sinking into your soft and cozy bed. When it comes to food, this hotel truly stands out. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of items, and the quality of the food is top-notch. The staff also goes out of their way to make sure that guests are happy with the food and that their dietary requirements are taken into account. Finally, the staff at Hotel Sapana Garden is simply outstanding. Narayan, in particular, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about trekking tours and the city of Kathmandu. It was one of my best stays outside my country. I really appreciate Ram for his kindness to last minute arrangements for my trip to Pokhara. The location, food, staff, cleanliness, bed everything is perfect. It was great value of money.

This was our second time staying here. We love the hotel. The staff is excellent and friendly. Very clean hotel. The pickup service is great and they will take you and pick you up from the Airport at convenient cost. The breakfast is good, but it would be nice to have pancakes one day. Would highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the two bedroom suite that has a small living area.

The hotel is hidden at the end of an alley and difficult to find. Room was described as a luxury double but it was a standard room on the small side and lacking a wardrobe where to put clothes. Breakfast was very poor and only one cup of coffee allowef - i thought it was a joke. I booked the hotel based on reviews but i think they must be written by frienfs of the staff. Staff in the restaurant were friendly but not the staff behind the front desk. Will not stay here again and do not recommend.

I highly recommend it for everyone because we stayed here for two days with my family with a unforgettable remember and experience like a lovely family environment with delicious food and neat and clean hospitality. Everybody looks helpful, polite, respectful, nice . I am really thankful to everyone and especially to Mr Ishwar (owner).
