Disappointed in the room for $1500 for 3 nights, had to ask for additional towels, more toilet paper, no kids TV channels!? No USB ports (or outlets) by bed. Bathroom tiny. No keurig maker or coffee included. Beach PACKED.

The Ocean 7 was a good option for our 4-day family beach trip. We were able to fit comfortably in the room with easy access to the beach and boardwalk, and the beach passes provided by the hotel were a plus.

We had a VERY rough start. When we checked in to our hotel we were told they didn’t have anymore beach tags. The free beach tag and proximity to the beach was the main reason we chose this hotel. When I asked the front desk worker what we should do I was told “not go to the beach”. I asked if others checking in were getting beach tags and there were 5 families ahead of mine who were waiting for beach tags too. I asked how I would be compensated since the free beach pass was part of the hotel stay and I was told the pass was just an amenity. I asked for the managers number to call them and the worker said that she would have them call me. Around 30 mins later I got a call from the manager saying that I would get a $40 credit (my stay was over $1,000). I was told they should have beach passes by 11:00. I asked how I can get to the beach in the morning and I was told again that I should be able to get a pass at 11:00. We were so upset, disappointed and frustrated. The next morning, around 8:00 am I stopped at the desk to let them know that we had a boat ride planned for 11:00 and could they save me a beach pass. The worker said they had 2 beach passes and gave them to me. Why hadn’t anyone called to tell me that passes were available? If you’re planning on staying at Ocean 7 for the beach, just know that it may not end up an actual beach vacation and you might be told to “not go to the beach”.

Only thing I appreciated was the location to beach and boardwalk.1) I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to sheets; therefore, using top sheets as a bottom sheet was AWFUL with the wrinkling and pulling away from mattress. 2) Only Two keys are given no matter how many in your party. 3) expect a disturbed look if u request clean towels and a change of sheets (they’ll ask u how many days u have been there) as well as toilet paper. 4) the freezer did not work even after someone came to “fix” it. 4) whoever gets the bed by the air conditioner… good luck. 5) only one elevator.

Convenient location steps from the boardwalk, friendly staff, clean and beautifully decorated room and well-maintained pool. Kitchen area was very tiny with a slow-heating 2-burner cooktop, so cooking indoor meals for my family of 6 was challenging. However, we made it work. We had an enjoyable stay.

Ocean 7 is steps from the boardwalk so it the location is extremely convenient. Once we arrived we did not have to drive anywhere that we wanted to go during our stay. The room was large and nicely decorated and having the kitchenette was great as it allowed us to have a few meals in our room instead of ordering everything out because the restaurants in the area can get pretty pricey. Our family of five had a great time and would definitely stay at Ocean 7 again on our next trip to Ocean City.

Room was not ready at check in time and had to wait. Elevator broke down 1/3 of way through my stay and was not repaired during the remainder of visit. Hotel needs a rinse off station for sand other than in pool area which requires carrying cart/gear to pool level and is not always open. Place is clean and staff was helpful.

It was a great place, only issue was that check in time was delayed for an hour because of room inspections, only to find cut nails all over the sink. Other than that, the staff were very kind and helpful and they let us park there in the morning and gave us our beach tags so that we could go to the beach without waiting for check in time.

The location of the motel is perfect, right off the boardwalk. The rooms are very clean and the staff was extra nice (thanks for the recommendations Anthony!). I didn't realize that the gave us beach tags too, so that was a bonus. Bathroom space is very minimal and there is really no room on the sink outside the bathroom to put make-up bags, however, both rooms have mirrors and a table to put things on. We had a family of 5 and used the sofa bed, if we come again, I would bite the bullet and book two rooms for some added comfort.

Our room had a great view. The beds were not too comfortable. The mattress is firm but the springs made the bed bounce around too much. The pillows are not all the same some were firm some were flat. The walls in the kitchen area were a little dirty they needed to be wiped down. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice size and kept very clean.

We loved the property! It was very clean and convenient to the boardwalk and beach. The only issue we had was the lack of an elevator, and we had a room on the 4th floor. My boyfriend can’t do steps so it was a struggle for him. Also there was not a an accessible bathroom, and I’m not sure if they offer any.

Everything about this Place was nothing short of Phenomenal from the staff we encountered at checking like Amanda and Glen to the hospitality crew at the hotel. This place shouldn’t even be classified as a motel. It’s way more than I anticipated and close to all of the activities like the Board Walk and all. Will definitely be going back again. We had a Suite and my Kids were completely blown away by how impressive everything turned out. Will highly recommend. A+++++++++++++
