Quite clean and relaxing. Usually stay at
“Chain” hotels but on a whim decided to try something different. This pleasant experience has changed my idea of home away from home.

Very Charming motel and was greeted by Tim, the manager who personally opened our room's door for us.
He allowed us to check in early. We felt very Welcomed and very clean nice place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our 3 or 4th stay. They modernized to digital locks so you get a text message when you can check in. This was super convenient. Bed was as comfortable as I remember and the voucher for breakfast across the street at the Speckled Hen was very useful. In previous stays this establishment was ultra clean. On this visit I found it not so. I wouldn't recommend walking around in bare feet. Floors weren't clean. Linens in the bathroom were worn and tethered. For the price I will think twice before my return. I already made plans for a return visit next year and chose a different place to stay. As for convenience it is great! Walking distance to town. Close proximity to Sight and Sound, The Rail Museum and Train, as well as Amish County with all it glory.

We loved the location and the delicious breakfast at the Speckled hen cafe across the street. The Carriage house was very clean with lovely updated rooms while still keeping the historical charm. Comfy beds and linens and a fully stocked kitchen were all enjoyed.

It was a cute little place. May need a few upgrades. Room smelled a little musty and the AC was loud. The Restaurant that is part of the package is a little overpriced and food was okay.

We loved the cleanliness, the cafe across the street (the speckled hen), big parking spaces right in front of your door, the beds were very comfortable as well.

The check in process is perfect. We got a text at 3 pm with our room number and door code. No need to go to the office. And breakfast was across the street at the classy Speckled Hen instead of the typical breakfasr a hotel serves. We'll be back next year!

Stayed here 2 nights while on a work trip. My room was very clean and cozy. AC worked great, and the bed was very comfortable. Took a walk around town and it’s such a cute area.

My favorite aspect of this property is that it wasn't your standard hotel decore and powdered eggs for breakfast. This property offered modern, clean design, foilage, a nice seating area (King Suite) with large window, chairs to sit outside and real eggs and other offerings from the restaurant across the street. It was in a convenient location for all that we chose to see on this trip. Highly recommend.

This is my first time staying at the Carriage House. The motel is located in a quiet area and it"s an easy 10 minutes drive to ahopping, restaurants, gas stations, and banks. My room is clean and bed is comdortable. You can park your car rigjt in front of your room. It makes unloading your bags easy. The staff in the office is very friendly and kind. Check in takes 2 minures. I received a note card with my access code to the room. Yoi get a voucher to have breakfast across the street. The food and coffee are wonderful. I only have 2 minor issues. One of the beds is very squeaky. The bed spring squeaks with twist and turn. The air condtioner is a bit loud. I would stay again.

Very clean and owner was very accommodating as I needed an extension cord and he had it within 5 minutes. If you have an early riser next door, they talk in front of your door. My family and I traveled to Pennsylvania for the weekend. We stayed at the Carriage House for an overnight stay. I must say the room was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend the Carriage House.

The room is very clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff is so friendly. The only one issue is the sink & bathtub water running down very slow.
