Amazing spacious hotel which has good connectivity to the train station and amenities like convenience stall and restaurant.
5.0
We stayed here for two nights while visiting Osaka, and it was a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, with quick access to the train station and close proximity to Universal Studios Japan. They offer access to a morning onsen for 500 yen, which is a great deal, though it doesn’t provide the same luxurious experience as the full spa. You don’t change into traditional wear, and access to outdoor areas and some interior baths (which are being cleaned) is restricted, but everything else was still enjoyable and is more private than if it was open to the public for those who are a little uncomfortable with the idea of a public onsen.
The view from the hotel is beautiful, and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. The on-site restaurant is delicious, but the bakery and other stores don’t open until after checkout and close too early, which was a bit disappointing. Parking is reasonably priced, though you can't come and go, but with the city’s public transportation, this isn’t much of an issue.
Overall, a great stay and a solid choice for those visiting the area!

Avoid this hotel. The worst hotel i stayed in on my 3 week trip over Japan. Where to start...
Reception. Barely see any staff. Max 1 person, even on daytime. They do not go out their way to serve. The opposite. They want the customer to do their job for them. Noone to help with luggage and anything we asked for we had to do their job for them. Everything was an effort and they had terrible custoemr service.
Breakfast. Saras is a joke. The food is awful and sparse. When breakfast is included. They thencharge a surcharge for earing in another restaurant that has a better buffet. The 51 floor buffet wasnt an option for the booking. Thats misselling.
The room, 4822. Felt tired, plastic bath, dirty carpet. Broken coffee machine. Air con always stuck on hot 20degrees. Centrally controled from hotel. They wheeled in a massive noisy air con unit that made no difference.
Towels are tiny, amenities are cheap. This is supposed to be a luxuury hotel!
Shower pressure is very low bath was cheap plastic and very slippery.
Staff were very unhelpful. Felt like the hotel is racist to foreigners as they dont wasn to try to help or offer any solutions or good will gestures
All through the night we heard loud biker gangs revving motors, and we were on 48th floor.
Made us feel unsafe to be out at night.
Transfer to the train is also missold. Its not a short walk. Takes about 10 mins navigating lots of stairs ramps. Dark and dingy corridors. Its also poorly lit and signposted

The hotel itself was fantastic and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The room was a great size, the whole hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I even appreciated the Express Checkout since I was running to catch an early flight. The only thing that was not ideal is the location of the hotel. Coming from the train, you can only cross the road at a few places. It was difficult getting there with large suitcases.

We stayed in the larger family room, which had a separate living room with bunk beds for the kids. Small kitchenette had a microwave, kettle and fridge. Stocked up from the 7-11 right outside the main entrance. Chose to stay here
for convenient and easy access to Universal studios. Free shuttle bus available to book in the morning and the front desk even organised USJ tickets for 2 days in advance. Close to trains to central Osaka and a few places to eat nearby.

The hotel location was great. Staff was amazing. But the bedroom was outdated and smelled like cigarettes. We requested to be moved but there was still some smell lingering. You can feel the dirt on the carpet and can tell that its an old hotel. The room, bathroom and carpet needs to be remodelled.

We loved the location of this hotel but felt mislead about the hot tubs availability. Expedia advertised multiple hot tubs on site but they had none. Hkwever thry had a discount for a mega onsen facility that was fabulous. The tricky part was going in there when it was open. They closed at 11pm and Universal Studious closed at 10pm

It was right nearby an Onsen which made it incredibly convenient and good for a relaxing last day.

It was my second time to stay at Art hotel. The location is great. It only takes about 6 to 8 minutes walk to both JR or Metro station. I was assigned a mid-level 3 beds room. It is bigger than the room of the upper floor. The room is big enough. The WiFi improved a lot, compared with last year. However, the bathroom is needed to renovate.

The hotel is beautiful with lovely art in the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and have nice design. It’s right next to Bentencho metro and JR so was an easy trip from the airport, and easy to travel on the metro with the Osaka Amazing pass. And it’s right next to the Solaniwa Onsen. I feel we really lucked out with this place! The buffet on the top floor was also very nice.

Smelled strange (urine ) and the washers and dryers were broke but the staff didn’t understand the issues. If staying for a day it’s ok. It much better places to stay that are cheaper and nicer.
