The Tolip Family Park Hotel is very modest. I stayed here during the World Urban Forum as it was one of the recommended hotels. Be aware that it is far away from any other amenities and it's often quite hard to get Ubers from there to take you anywhere. The room was okay, but very basic. The balcony door did not lock, which was quite disconcerting. The breakfast was very simple. Overall it's fine to stay here but set your expectations accordingly.

Property is surrounded by construction making access difficult. Staff are indifferent at best, unfriendly most of the time and unhelpful when needed. They are more keen on counting towels to make sure you are not taking any home than actually providing proper service.
Never again, not even for $5 per night.

Glean, big lobby, friendly helpful staff,, good 24 Hours restaurant with very reasonable prices and good food, Rooms are rundown and very depressing, I had to check out and go to another hotel because of the room, when you are out you don't look forward to back to it.

Terrible accommodations. Room was filthy. No towels in the room, and doubt it was cleaned prior to check in. Air conditioning controls did not function properly and temperature could not be controlled. Reception would not let me leave in the morning until it was checked by housekeeping even though room was completely paid for in advance. Nothing is around the hotel location. Do not stay here.

Don't waste your money. unprofessionell Reception and Team. Although my booking was BB and confirmed, they wanted to charge me extra for breakfast, and when i refused and threatened with the police, the extra charge disappeared. Hotel standard in general will not exceed 3 stars

Well, I ignored all the bad reviews before booking my stay because of the close location to my wedding ballroom. But, I never thought, that I will regret paying every single penny to this place.
Starting from my arrival, parking was not for free. and guess what? I had to pay for my visitors parking as well. I arrived to the hotel three hours prior to my ceremony.
Upon arrival I told the receptionist that we were expecting a makeup artist to do my bride’s hair, so, I was asked to pay extra 500 pounds to allow the artist to get into the hotel.
At first, the room I was given, was a double twin bed. I asked for upgrade as a honeymoon package, but they didn’t have such a thing and I paid another 800 pounds to get the king size bed( which they have only in the suites) and guess .
what, the upgrade didn’t include a breakfast!
For the artist to start work, she needed light, and I can tell you, we needed two extra flash lights because the room lights are too poor.
When we returned from the ceremony. We had to charge my phone and place our valuable stuff on the ground.
Speaking about the valuable stuff, the safe was broken, I couldn’t place a thing in it. The elevator worked only two times during my stay,
The hair dryer didn’t work at all, the toilet water hose was broken and left lying on the bathroom floor.
I didn’t leave next morning as I slept too late. So the hotel charged me $120 which I agreed to pay.
No room service showed up next day despite I placed the tag.

Poor service. Reservation included free breakfast however I was denied service as they claimed my reservation did not include one. Also the hotel has no queen beds in standard rooms! All are twin beds which was very inconvenient since I was staying alone. Do not recommend

Booked 2 room for family that was staying over in Cairo to see the pyramids- hotel was clean & comfortable. Was In a family park, great for families, & in safe location. All family members were very comfortable there! Only thing they improve on is the breakfast & touch up on the cleaning.
