The employees were friendly and the views were beautiful. I am just not able to give a good review because I felt deceived by the resorts and its accommodations and amenities. I booked 2 separate stays for the same party, total of 5 people and it was very expensive for what it actually is worth. Upon arriving we had no service on our phones, no wifi, no TV, no electricity and no AC due to no electricity. I had to turn on the electricity manually and climb up to the closet to switch it on and off. They had no food options, when ordering we were forced to eat the same 2 dishes the entire time. It was very disappointing.

I stayed here with my family and booked two separate rooms with a pool and although the views were beautiful, they stay itself was very uncomfortable. We arrived and immediately there was bo electricity, no wifi, no AC because of the lack of electricity. I had to manually turn the lights on and off. We had little options of food, they were always running out of food and we basically had to eat the same dish over and over again. I repeatedly had to asl for help, I had no phone service, couldn't communicate with the staff. It was disappointing because the property looked so pretty.

Absolutely wow!! This is in paradise. Can’t stress enough how absolutely stunning this resort is. Right at the ocean, yet in the middle of the jungle. Stunning private villas (not just rooms), epic views, super tranquil, only a handful of people around as it’s a boutique resort on a huge property. Just wow. Great food and drinks and fantastic service. This is a VIP experience, hands down. Thank you, Imanta!

The Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel can be a private beach jungle dream. Restaurants are outstanding, and the silence and privacy takes the win over any big resort. Definitely going back.

Although the weather was unexpectedly unruly for Punta Mita and the time of year, the experience at Imanta was exactly what I needed, completely restful. The room (more private villa) was open, spacious but cozy. Glass sliding doors open all of the walls up to the outside, allowing one to hear waves crash, fountains bubble and birds chirp (a screen door option also available to keep any jungle critters out). Sets of wooden pocket doors separate the Villa’s interior into smaller spaces to create a more intimate feeling.
The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and lovely.
The property is sprawling, almost 300 acres, most of which is hikeable and has natural coves to explore.
The beach set up is perfect... chairs are set in various areas providing privacy, shade, full sun, umbrellas, draped daybeds etc.
The spa breaks tradition by being open air, yet private. The spa staff catered to my specific wants (an aloe Vera wrap and massage) that wasn’t on the menu.
the food and drinks were delicious all around. No reason at all to leave the gates. Go and enjoy!

I hate giving this review bc the hotel has great potential, it should be a 10 but it's a 6 or 7
Pros: secluded, private, beautiful, beach and villas, very good service in general but especially in the restaurants, good food (Except for the tacos that gave my husband and I food poisoning) and authentic mexican feel without the Cabo clichés, sometimes it's hard for me as a Mexican to enjoy hotels in my own country because they portray the idea of what a lot of foreigners think it's mexican culture.
Cons: for starters my husband and I got very sick from some lamb tacos and the management didn't offer any help, the worst part is the hotel expected us to pay for them, at the end they sustracted them from the final bill. In general I feel that the hotel is overpriced specifically the spa rates and I didn't feel that they live up to the standards of Relais and Chateaux (we've stayed in many around the world). I understand that the hotel is in the middle of the jungle (which is great), but the amount of spiders, lizards, crickets, ants and crabs inside the room was too much, I'm used to the occasional visitor but this felt like a plague, also the condition of the hotel isn't the best, to get to the beach you had to cross through a huge disgusting puddle; the cleaning of the room was deficient: some days they cleaned the outside tub and others they didn't, same with the minibar refillings and lastly the hotel is in no way adapted for people with disabilities

When people talk about being in paradise, they must have Imanta Resorts in mind. We had an incredibly romantic, relaxing and restorative experience doing nothing--aside from being lulled to sleep and awakened by the ocean waves, gliding through the infinity pool, soaking in the jacuzzi bath, showering in a stone shower with sunshine streaming in, walking and swimming in the sea, releasing baby turtles, delighting in delicious ceviche, cannolis, and mahi mahi, sipping margaritas and talking with the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
