It’s my second time in this small charming boutique hotel. The rooms in the back have a nice bucolic view so the towns outskirts. The staff is very friendly as everyone else in this beautiful state.

Very pleasant, good quality and well-kept pousada.
During the Covid-19 pandemic breakfast is being served in the bedrooms (presumably social distancing is impossible in the dining room).

a true delight. Fantastic view. Great staff. And the city is very amazing too. Be ready for nearly all streets being surprisingly steep - that's part of the charm.

Short 5 min walk from center, close to everything. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the views of the mountains were AMAZING. I did not want to leave in the morning, was just mesmerizing watching the view. The hotel staff barely spoke English but we got by with some Spanish and lots of sign language, and they were super helpful, even helped me get instructions on how to book my bus to Rio. I was in Ouro Preto during carnival, so was wild out but the pousada was a short walk away from the center so on a more quiet street (though during carnival nothing is quiet... crazy loud music til wee hours of the day). I would definitely stay there again if I went back, such a cute town and cute bed and breakfast!!

The large windows opening to the hillside gave spectacular views. We watched people playing soccer and swimming, cows grazing on the hill, and the clouds rolling over the hills. Walking up to the square was an adventure, there were a few steep inclines but our legs are better off for them. We enjoyed the cafe and sitting on the front porch as the evening came to a close.

The location was very near the center of town and most tourist attractions. The streets of Ouro Preto are very steep, including the ones from the hotel to the center of town. People with locomotion problems will need to use taxis, plentiful and reasonable priced

positive all the way. I have no Portuguese beyond a short book and my listening to a couple of mp3s. Arrived at Confins airport 12 hours late, at 8 pm -- needed to get a bus to Ouro Preto--ticket seller at Belo Horizonte bus station very attentive--even arranged for a taxi to be waiting when I arrived in OP at 1 am. You'll need a taxi to get to your hotel, if you have more than a backpack! Streets are precipitous, windy, and mostly unmarked. A very welcoming country, in my experience. Amazing how the Brazilians keep their good humor....
