We booked and paid a hotel room for 3 persons from 24-25/11 through hotels.com and even though we had a booking confirmation, the receptionist told us that there were no rooms available. So we were standing late night without a place to sleep!. Unacceptable breach of trust and they failed to take just the slightest responsibility for their errors.
Stay away! Do not put any trust in these people.

It was very good but if you want to try other restaurants on site you have to book them from day one ( mistake we've made).

In general was a really good experience, our room was nearby the pool ans the restaurant. We couldn't enjoy the A la Carte restaurants for dinner as they were fully booked, we were hiven the lunch option but we didn't take it. The food in the buffet we really good and the variety from lical food to international cuisine.
Only issue was the towels in the room, the moment they take it to replace you suffer to get new ones has they only bring it by dinner time, and if you were lucky to get one. I had to call housekeeping 3 times on the same night to get one.

The staff are great and professional. The food and the drinks could be a little better.

Lots of positives. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our bedroom recieved a thorough clean each day and we received fresh towels each day.
Lots of food choices including a buffet and several a la carte. We were here 1 week amd had no problems booking a different restaurant each night by going to the booking service at 1030 in the odyssey bar ( next to the piano). Food was excellent.
Hotel has several pools and direct access to the beach.
No problems getting a sunbed.
No mosquitos but bring your spray just in case.

It's a large and well maintained hotel complex on a stretch of excellent beach. We loved the location, the weather of course, lots of wildlife, birds, turtles and butterflies. The staff are mostly young in age and very friendly and helpful. Service in the bars, restaurants and poolside are all very good.
The housekeeping for our room often didn't turn up until 6pm and on the last 2 days we were there they didn't turn up at all. This was despite our leaving the 'please clean our room' notice on our door for them to see. I phoned down to reception a couple of times but reception did not answer. That wasn't very good and not what we would expect from a 5-star hotel.

We arrived a little early to the resort but were told our room would be ready by 3pm. It was almost 4pm by the time it was ready. When we got to the room, we realised that the queen bed was actually a standard double.
The person who took us to our room advised us the mini bar would be filled around 5pm. It was never filled. We slept really badly the first few nights with lots of back pain. Eventually, we lifted the mattress to find various support slats were missing. After we reported this to reception, they had it repaired and we slept much better.
As we'd paid for The Level, we were advised on our second morning that we could alternate breakfasts at The Level breakfast in our resort and the one next door at melia llana. We did this and it was great, as it's an adults only hotel.
Sadly, on our last morning, they had introduced a new vip level, meaning we lost the right to this service. As such, I don't think I'd recommend paying extra for The Level for anyone thinking of going in future.
The food offering was very good - better than other all inclusive resorts I've been to. But we weren't advised to book restaurants in advance and, at the peak period of the year that is new year, we were only able to book the new year's eve night (which we did in advance) and one other included dinner.
The best thing about the resort is definitely the staff. They obviously really want to help and make sure you're having a good time. They go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

We were very disappointed. The hotel is rated 5 star at Hotels.com, but not much here that reminded about 5 stars. It should have been 4 stars - not 5.
- food: Most food tasted the same everywhere. One exception: Dinner at Aqua. Tasty food.
- drinks: limited choice for non-alcoholic drinks, and many options (of the few) were not available
- maintenance: Lack of maintenance. Problems with aircondition. Smell of mildew.
- gym - very small. Only space for 2 people at a time, and shared facility for 2 hotels.
- service: Employees did not remember who had ordered what. It could take an hour or more to get what we had ordered. Many of them could not speak English. Some of them were very friendly.
Positive: Nice snorkeling. Nice pool area. Nice sunsets on the beach.
We moved to RIU Santa Maria after 4 nights. That is a true 5 star resort. Are still there.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE AVOID. Shower water is yellow, the resort is absolutely understaffed, employees were hiding. it was CHAOTIC. Restaurant are already fully booked when you arrive, and food (restaurant or buffet) is just horrible. We ended up taking a cab to eat in Santa Maria. Wifi does not work, dirty everywhere. People around me were as much horrified as me. A lot of very upset people. How come this rating is so high ? Are the other reviews fake ???

Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel was nice but not everything was opened yet after Covid.
We took Level and this was perfect since no kids are allowed.

we stayed here for 4 days and it was nothing short of perfect. We wished we had stayed longer. The ambience was great, even better than the pictures. Food was great too and literally all inclusive, meaning you don’t have to pay for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even drinks. Everything is covered in the cost of the room. Totally amazing! The pools are relaxing and great too.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. Booked as a 5 star hotel, and for a €200 room per night, the deluxe room we stayed was very dirty, shower in the suite in terrible conditions, damaged furniture, poor food (canned fruit for example), etc... Fortunately the local staff with their incredible hospitality and friendless made it bearable.

The hotel is nice, nice rooms, swimming pools and bars. It is clean. We could put 5 stars, but the food is really not good, that's why we give 3 stars.
