The staff has been really lovely , a warm welcome , they told me about the area and they were always available to answer my questions , even prior to checking in to book excursions. I definitely recommend !

Absolutely loved this modernised townhouse. Very contemporary rooms, high quality fittings, superb bed, great shower. Only slight issue was the lack of natural light on room 1, but it doesn’t spoil the stay

I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The hotel is picturesque and located in a perfect location to enjoy Chania’s old town. Walking out of the hotel in the morning feels like stepping into a postcard. And it’s located right next to two excellent and affordable restaurants. Highly recommend.

Wonderful small hotel close to everything.
10 minutes walk from bus station.
Port only 5 mins walk, authentic restaurants all around, but not noisy, our room was very clean and comfortable with lovely little touches, raki, sweets, coffee pod's, safe and fridge. We will be back for longer.
Thank you 🙂

Very charming hotel in a very central location. We loved the view from our room, but if you are a light sleeper it might not be for you (there are two very busy restaurants right in the front of the hotel that stay open until 1am). The hotel is family owned and very well kept. Good value, definitely recommend.

The building was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful, the location is at its best, and most of all, the unforgettable sight of the hotel’s matriarch Maria sitting infront of the entrance with her Beautiful presence and smile made our Chania experience complete. Language didn’t get in the way when she worked her way for us to be seated in the nearby crowded seafood restaurant, and she also made sure that our ride to the airport will be safe by her talking to our driver first before she gave us the signal that we’ll be fine. Maria was amazing!! We hope one day to come back here again to explore Crete more.

A hidden gem, a beautiful building in a fabulous location next to great restaurant and wine bar/cafe. The renovation is excellent and full of character, we stayed in room 3 on the first floor. It was modern, spotless with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. The owners stored luggage, helped us with information and generally were full of Cretan hospitality. Great value for money, great holiday.

Booked this hotel in April for a stay in July and ensured we had chosen a newly renovated room which was more expensive than the older looking rooms.
A few days before checking in, we looked back on Expedia to see if the hotel had a laundry service and noticed all the names of the rooms and photos had changed. We emailed the hotel to verify that the room we would be staying in was a renovated one. We got a reply saying that the room we had booked was not a renovated one and that the hotel was now booked out. Our new room was small and the bathroom dated and cramped.
We went to speak to one of the owners Michael about the mix up with the rooms. He was very rude, accepted no responsibility and seemed to be more interested in what was happening outside than talking to us. We received no apology, and when we said that he had falsely advertised the room he put all the blame on expedia for not putting the right photos up, and on us by saying that we should have known we would not have had a nicer room for the price we paid.
At the beginning and throughout our stay, they kept saying they'll give us a refund so we could stay elsewhere, however as you can imagine it would be impossible to find another hotel last minute, in the middle of Chania and at a reasonable price.
One positive was that one of the owners sat down with us and recommended lot's of bars, restaurants and beaches to visit.
After reading such good reviews about the hotel, we were disappointed by the way were treated.

We have just had a very pleasant stay for a week at the Harismari hotel. The service and the room provided for us by the owners Michalis and his mother Maria was excellent our room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is central and very handy for all our visits to the port of Chania, to the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is an old Venitian house which has been very tastefully renovated to meet the needs of the visitor. Would definitely recommend it and hope we can visit again.
