We had a death in our family and I asked to move my prepaid reservation up 3 weeks, as the funeral is today and they refused to speak to me when I called. I have already booked at another hotel for our rescheduled trip. The team at Hotels.com attempted to reach out multiple times as well. I’m hoping this is atypical of innkeepers in this area as we are really looking forward to this respite from the Texas heat.

No personality or customer service but was clean. No morning coffee, much less breakfast, for those leaving before 7 AM

Clean rooms, staff was pleasant . Great easy access to surrounding area.

We were arriving late and the staff called to see if we would arrive before the desk was closed and how to enter if we arrived late.
The breakfast was satisfactory, but could have been better.
Close to downtown and lots of restaurants nearby.
I would stay here again.

Room was small, but clean. The hot tub was very nice! The carpet in the hallway stank. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were awful! The parking lot was super small and additional parking was inconvenient to park our truck.

The room was tiny. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. There was no soundproofing between floors. We heard heavy footsteps above us. That shouldn't happen. The parking lot was sketchy. There were commercial vehicles parked all night and people by them who were definitely not hotel guests. Some bath towels were threadbare. I would not stay there again.

1 No onsite customer service during the evening
2 The breakfast: Minimum

The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. However, you could hear people talking in the rooms next to ours. The breakfast was all cold foods except if you make toast. The breakfast room lacked napkins, paper plates, coffee was empty, no knives for spreading the butter, and the counters were dirty. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk to ask for these items or the coffee to be refilled. A young man who was cleaning finally asked if we needed something and acted very put off when I asked for coffee & napkins. I would not stay here again based on the price vs value.

Everything was good. The room was clean and comfortable to stay for night. The only one disadvantage is poor breakfast.

It was pretty good, one to many ottomans making it tight quarters.

I normally like staying here but I was disappointed that the gym doesn’t open til 7. When you have to hit the road early it would nice to be able to get a workout in first.

Staff were incredibly rude and mixed up our rooms and repeatedly kept calling our work team during a work project to get us to switch rooms and threating to charge us for an extra day for their mistake. I would avoid this place, many better places to stay in Anacortes

Salish Inn was a decent stay. Seemed clean, efficient, the front desk was very friendly and helpful, parking lot seemed safe with good lighting, room was clean and well-maintained.
Downsides were the bed sheets that were a satin-y polyester material with an ill-fitting bottom sheet that wouldnt stay on the bed, leaving obe to wake up on an uncovered slightly stained mattress. The room doors are also VERY heavy and make a LOUD clang every time the door is closed (early morning or late at night). The breakfast included was very underwhelming.
Overall, I would stay here again despite the shortcomings if the rate is reasonable. The location is great for visiting the islands, coastal towns, Bellingham, etc. The Thai restaurant next door was great. With a few minor improvements (combining the breakfast and front desk / lobby offerings under one or two staff similar to how Scandanvian countries handle it), some better fitted cotton sheets, and a door dampening liner tape, and this would be a top-notch stay.

Very nice in a very nice city. Staff was a little unconcerned about a large moter home parked in a “compact car” space blocking cars and views of front entrance for at least three days.

Not too fond that they don't have someone to greet and check you in after 9pm. Box to retrieve key from was a little tricky to figure out.

This is probably the newest hotel in town. Rooms were clean and fine for a couple. If you have kids, it might be tight. Not a bad place to stay and close to everything. No great views.

Newer establishment and quite clean and well run - despite not having a heavy employee presence.
My daughter plugged the toilet and they very quickly got someone up to help us. But you seldom see staff around. Front desk was great.
A covering of dust on all but the bottom bathroom shelves. I always look to see how clean things look in the places that are used, but not visible. There was a wash cloth or rag stuck up (missed or forgotten) on the shower curtain rod - kind of hidden. We didn’t touch it.
Overall a good experience; outwardly appears clean and well maintained.
Never saw another guest (and only 3 employees over 3 days!).
Saw the breakfast area which looked clean -not a soul to be seen - guests or employees! We just never had time for breakfast, but offerings of hard boiled eggs, pastries, cold cereal items, toast and fruit.
Overall, a quirky and quiet little hotel that I would choose to stay in again.
