We had an amazing few days at the hotel with our (almost) two-year old boy. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. We were initially a bit worried about bringing our little son, but the staff went out of their way to make him feel welcome. Thank you! The hotel itself is lovely and clean, and is situated in the most stunning location. The view from the beautiful garden and patio is just amazing. This will definitely not be our last time!

We had a lovely time at Alter Meierhof. The room was big, clean and had everything you need including water and coffee free of charge. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because of the Spa facilities. The only pool you can swim in was really cold and the 2 steam baths also didn’t really work as we thought it would. But if you want a private massage or facial treatment, I am sure this is a good spa.

We spent a family holiday here. Nice location just by Meiervik. We are satisfied with everything. Superb SPA with both indoor and outdoor pool. The breakfast was perfect. Great selection and high quality. The overall service level is really 5 Star. I was expecting a little bit more from the kitchen, might be that we stayed during a July when most restaurants have season workers. BUT it made up by their incredible wine list. If you are into good wines. This hotel is heaven.

Overall a lovely hotel with great staff. Views were spectacular and the breakfast buffet delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary wine and fruit basket for our wedding weekend. Cute leaving gift too which was a nice gesture. Parking was only 5€ per day but considering the price of the room should really be included in the price. Electrics are outdated and we did have to change room due to lighting issues but they were very accommodating. Biggest downfall was the lack of air-conditioning - they should at least provide fans on a hot weekend like ours. The heat was so unbearable on one night that we couldn't sleep and therefore we would not stay here again on a hot night but would recommend it the rest of the year.

We had a great stay at the hotel for 3 nights. The food was delicious and the service was great. However I wouldn’t call it a 5* hotel, maybe 4,5 but not 5*. It’s not very modern and its a bit ‘worn’. If you end up booking it, please make sure you have a room with a view over the sea. We had a room that faced outside the street, and it was super noisy and there was a weird generator that made a constant noise 24/7. Which made it uncomfortable to sleep. The turndown service was not existing, and we didn’t have any cleaning done before long after 3. However that’s small things and over all we did have a great stay, the spa area was wonderful and the service was super there.

Lovely hotel. The spa are wasn't huge, but still very charming though. Though i would say, if the weather isn't good, then there is probably not too much to do an entire weekend. But if the weather is good, then place is amazing. Good food, and very intimate feel. Amazing view also. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable and lovely hotel 10 minutes away from Flensburg. Cheap parking (5 euros). Very helpful stuff that speaks fluent English. We loved their restaurant, even though picked this place for their second restaurant with 2 Michelin star. The room was cosy and nice, we've got the whole base full of fruits. We wish they got harder pillows and mattress. The pool and relaxation area is just perfect and above expectations.

We enjoyed staying with you again. However, the room did not live up to our expectations. Good bed, nice bathroom, but no comfortable chairs or a table to write on or put your laptop. This is our second visit, and your service is excellent, good breakfast -but the room charge does not equal the comfort for a hotel in your class -too cramped and uncomfortable. We had Room no 218 - our son had no 219 -a nice room for him.
