They routinely overbook rooms so your reservation may not actually be real. They create demand to inflate prices. Way way way overpriced as well.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We had a getaway without the children and it was a relaxing atmosphere; except for at night time the walls and floors were thin and heard the upstairs guests walking around. Guests walking in the hallway and doors slamming from other rooms. We didn’t eat at the restaurant at the hotel but it seemed to be busy every night. The breakfast in the morning included oatmeal and coffee/tea. The gym was small and machine needed to be updated. There was plenty of onsite parking and many restaurants in the area.

Everything was very comfy. We only stayed for one night but we had a comfy room, great bathroom and shower. Would definitely stay here again

Hotel was renovated and is lovely. Unfortunately, with the new floors, you can hear everything from the hallway and also televisions in other rooms.

Love the ambiance of this hotel, very clean, lovely teas in your room. My first stay here was perfect, my second stay I was on the second floor, and there were kids running up and down the hallway for the greater part of the day, my work was on 3rd shift, so my sleep tume was during this time, and that was a bit awful.

Amazing hotel. Big and spacious room very nicely decorated and clean! Feels fresh and it was almost a perfect stay if it weren’t for the train blares starting at around 6:30-7am. Hotel sits right next to train tracks and back rooms’ windows face the train tracks directly which are probably 20 feet away from the window. So it gets pretty loud when trains go by. I personally enjoy the sounds of trains and I would definitely come back.

Last minute reservation and the staff kindly made up for reduced capacity (restaurant closed ) and they are pet friendly.
Dog charge of $100 is high compared to other hotels. But had a nice stay.

The room was great and updated! Staff was friendly. Wish there was a note about the restaurant being closed prior to arrival. Some guests were slamming doors as late as 11p and talking loudly on the third floor

It was new and clean, the room was nice and the facility was great. The hotel was also very near the highway so super convenient and has its own parking lot. The reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars are: no coffee maker in the room, no breakfast option and very confusing pre check in process. They send an email asking for your credit card, a copy of your license a picture of you and time of arrival. However when you arrive they ask for your license and credit card, making the pre check in totally useless and a waste of time.

The Watershed is a beautifully renovated hotel with lots of attention to detail and design. The soothing wood and earth tones are both inviting and relaxing. The lobby feels more like a living room with comfy sofas, and window-side chairs and tables. The hotel sits on the banks of the Norwalk River, and there is a view of it from the lobby, some guest rooms, and the adjoining Sienna Italian Restaurant. There is also a beautiful rooftop terrace with loungers, sofas, and cabanas. Although there is a bar space, unfortunately, it is not open except for private events.
The front desk staff and everyone else who I encountered throughout my stay were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in a superior king room that included a chaise lounger as well as a desk area. The whole room looked clean and freshly renovated. The bathroom had a beautiful, spacious marble shower with Malin Goetz toiletries! Grace Farms local teas are complimentary, but there is a French press coffee service option that can be arranged for a fee.
When I read reviews of this property prior to booking, some people complained about hearing trains go by or doors slamming. I typically travel with earplugs so that my sleep is not disturbed, so noise was not an issue for me. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and will definitely book this hotel again when I plan to be in the area.

We arrived late in the day and left early the next morning so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely garden along the back end of the hotel. Very convenient to the highways. I LOVED the super thick, high, mattress and plush pillows. Staff was very courteous, efficient, and friendly, offering suggestions for everything we needed. Positive experience. I'd recommend to others.

Large clean and comfortable room, good bathroom. Staff helpful. There is a rail line at the rear of the hotel, we had rooms at the front and didn't hear anything apart from the occasional whistle. Good parking. Would happily stay again.
