Location is okay a little further away than what we’d have liked and was pretty hard to find. However, the host was very helpful and friendly and the room was very nice with a lovely balcony and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch

This was our first property with real air conditioning, that we could control it!! A beautiful room, spacious and quiet. It is 10 minutes walk to the city center, train station, restaurants, etc. Just great!! I would love to come back!!

The Reef met our expectations. It was very clean, well equipped with coffee machine, kettle, toaster oven, microwave; small fridge in bedroom. Common area and balcony to eat or sit. Eugene was very helpful upon arrival and accommodating as our train to Napoli was 3 hours late. Room had housekeeping each day. Good sized bathroom, balcony and bed area. There was some construction noise during the day and evening due to renovations occurring in the building, it was a minor nuisance. Within walking distance to the train station and a larger supermarket is nearby.
Note: this location is not in the tourist area ( not hear Piazza Tasso or any of the marina overlooks. It is a far walk to the Grande Marina area.
It is in an apartment building with security gates, on the first floor (second floor for North Americans) and has a small elevator.
Sufficient and clean. Could use new pillows.

Decent location. Fair price. Room was very cold and heater didn’t work or at least didn’t get the room warmer. Owner helped with bag when we arrived and made us coffee our first day. Overall nice.

They even allowed us to keep our settles of Catan out on a table all the time so we dis not have to set it up.

Great location with new, clean room in a building that is being renovated. The only difficulty was in finding where to check in. There is only one sign outside stating what floor to go to. You must go through construction zone to get to the elevator. Once on the floor, there was no sign leading us to The Reef. However, we did have someone open a shut door to call us in. From there on our stay went smoothly and comfortably.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Yes the entry is a little dodgy but the building is being renovated and should not at all take away from what is a great little hotel in a central location in Sorrento that has everything that you need. Will definitely stay there again

Location - excellent. Near train & bus stations. On edge of the centre, so peaceful but near shops.
Accommodation - mixed. A small b&b in the corner of a floor in a large block. A bit creepy coming into large, dark building alone after dark.
Inside the b&b facilities are lovely: breakfast area with balcony; great room with kettle, fridge & safe; bathroom with good shower; balcony with a table & chairs. Everywhere was beautifully clean.
But my room was SO cold. I asked for help. They turned the heating number from 28 to 30 on the AC system but it made no perceptible difference. I was there alone, saw no point in an argument as they’d indicated there was no more to be done, & I saw from the response to a previous review they didn’t readily empathise with guests’ problems. I coped by getting straight into bed wearing layers & doubling the 3 quilts - until the weather turned cold & I was so cold the last night I couldn’t sleep, got a terrible cold & struggled through the journey home feeling rotten. So a wonderful place in summer but they booked me for March!
Customer Service - Mixed. They kept messaging to ask when I would arrive, making me feel hassled. Seems they don’t live on site & come in specially for reception & breakfast. But they are efficient & helpful with information. Breakfast was fine & they let me opt in or out.
Value for money- Excellent.

My main reason for such a poor rating is because of customer service. We traveled here from Napoli and asked the hotel reception the best way to arrive. They recommended a bus and told us we should get there within an hour and a half. However due to traffic it was behind schedule. So we called the hotel and told him he would be 20-30 minutes late. I received a call 20 minutes later stating if I wasn’t there in 10 minutes that unfortunately I couldn’t stay there! I was IN PURE PANIC! We ran to the hotel and I called him a second time assuring him that I was running and would be there shortly. One word, “ok.” Click. Hung up! I felt very unwelcome and thought it was very poor service. If you don’t want to check people in then don’t run a hotel. Otherwise this place was average- bed okay, room okay, nothing special. Look elsewhere, as I had to sprint with a suitcase in order to not lose an already paid for reservation...
