We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Polderhuis Bed & Breakfast. All the staff were gracious, friendly, and accommodating. Checking in and out was quick and straightforward. The property and room were very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing, fresh, delicious, and locally sourced. We would highly recommend Polderhuis Bed & Breakfast.

A wonderful place. Very welcoming in a lovely setting opposite a park. Very clean and of a high standard. Breakfast consisted of a good selection of continental style items. Would stay again.

A brief return to the town we lived in for 7 years in the '90s to see old friends was enhanced hugely by finding the old Polderhuis as a top class bed and breakfast accommodation. Care has been given to all aspects and small details included to make it a very special stay. The people we dealt with were great; friendly, helpful and informative. Beware anyone staying there with any kind of difficulty with stairs as, in the common Dutch style, they are steep with very narrow steps. Simple problem to overcome, ask for a ground floor room. Highly recommend a stay there and make sure you plan a light lunch as the breakfast is absolutely fantastic in content and quality.

On top of everything we were so surprised to find our room had a balcony! Small details, too, were great down to having real teacups for the in room coffee/tea, and homemade jams for breakfast. All of the amenities you could ask for including a comfortable bed and very good shower. Inn has meeting room for 10 upstairs. Close to a Golf Course. Even the weather was great!

Awesome b&b, really freindly staff, and modern up to date facilities. Regarding my bedroom, if i walked into a 5* hotel and saw it, i would not be disappointed! Really comfortable memory foam mattress, large TV, coffee machine, free water and lovely view of the park opposite. En suit was great too, a waterfall shower, and plenty of room, with lovely tiles on the floor too. Very clean throughout. Breakfast is continental as all EU are, but it was brought out fresh for me.

We stayed at the Polderhuis in its first weeks of operations and really liked our stay. Mieke was a fantastically friendly and hospitable host and made us a terrific breakfast in the garden. The hotel is wonderfully renovated with lots of authentic details as well as old telephones, radios and cameras. In front of the hotel is an inviting terrace for having a drink and the garden at the back of the hotel allows for a relaxing and sunny breakfast. The hotel also has a nice bar and breakfast lounge, though it was not sure when we stayed whether they would start serving something for dinner as well (June 2020). No worries though, the hotel is right outside of the town centre of Bergschenhoek, which has a few restaurants to choose from. The room was really nice, with a fantastically comfortable bed, good airconditioning, roomy bathroom with strong shower and quality fixtures and fittings all around. It was surely a modern room, but with some nice authentic elements as well. The location was great for visiting friends in Rotterdam, as Bergschenhoek is just a few minutes north of Rotterdam and the neighbourhood of Hillegersberg. The airport is just 10 minutes, Delft or Gouda 20 minutes and The Hague 30 minutes. Since we were the only guests with a car that day, we were allowed to park on the property (over the bridge), but otherwise we would have gladly parked on the street, which is fairly calm and generally has plenty of vacant parking spaces. We hope to return soon!
