We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The front desk rep Graziela was phenomenal and made us feel like family. The restaurant staff were also phenomenal and made us feel at home. Excellent hotel location close to one of the main mercados for all food and gift buying you will ever need so we will definitely stay there again.

Awesome place near train station and market. Best breakfast of anywhere we stayed. Definitely would book again.

We didn't enjoy the food, the sausages were cheap and eggs cooked poorly you'd think it's not that hard to make them. Rooms were clean. Staff on the reception messed up the amounts to be paid and asked to come again and pay the rest. There is a cute alpaca in the yard but there is also the smell

Absolutely loved our stay in Union hotel. The staff there go above and beyond for their clients. Always ready to help, and very informative. When we came in they sat us down made us some tea and told us what to expect with check-in. We were there for Machu Picchu expedition and they were very accommodating to keep our bags and even have them in our room for our next check in. They also left a cute welcome box with some chocolate and snacks.
The first check- in was slightly delayed there were small inconveniences such as the toilet being plugged and a couple towels missing from the description of what to expect- but within a few minutes that was easily fixed. The staff even offer to provide you with a snack for breakfast since we left at 4am and wouldn’t be able to enjoy the daily breakfast included. When we were leaving the staff was so kind to help connect us with a taxi and even went out of their way to help out with loading our luggage. Truly above and beyond service. Clean and comfortable stay! Would go again and recommend!!

This was a fantastic hotel! It's right down the road from San Pedro market and the city center. The whole area is beautiful. The hotel had a quaint commons area in the center where you can see the sky and sit and listen to free live music each evening. Veronica taught about making and dying yarn and wearing. Kiki the alpaca was there in the commons very often and was a delight. Gracelia, the front desk attendant, was the real star of the show. She treated us like we were important and she WANTED us there. She was incredibly kind and accommodating. I only wish there were clones of her to always be there. :) We took advantage of the free cooking classes and learned to make pisco sours and ceviche. So much fun! The free breakfast was phenomenal! Room service was fun and affordable. Make sure you ask the front desk about local events! We forgot to ask and we slept right through an overnight festival in the streets right outside the hotel. We only found out when we realized there were fireworks at 4 am. We would have loved to attend if we had known!
We would definitely stay here again.

The stay at Union hotel has been nothing short of spectacular. The location is central, the room is massive and so comfortable.
The staff are the loveliest people I have ever met.
They adored my kids and took care of them as their own, from the lady at the front desk (sorry don't remember her name) to the wait staff at the restaurant.
The front staff offered to pack us some takeaway breakfasts on our early excursion days without us even asking.
The breakfast was delicious, fresh and hot food were made to order.
They would help carry my younger one around, offer him opportunities to feed the resident Alpaca (Kiki).
I'm especially impressed at the free experiences they offer 6 days a week, from traditional weaving demonstrations by Kiki's mom (please read Kiki's story if you ever come here), to the free cooking master class (thanks Shakira, Yulisays for the amazing Pisco Sour, and Heiner for the delicious ceviche). There is also live music every night at the courtyard which my kids especially enjoyed.
Would definitely HIGHLY recommend anyone traveling to Cusco to stay here.
One shoutout to Lenin from Carpio Tours for hooking us up with some amazing day excursions (group and private). The prices are highly competitive as I've shopped online and around Cusco, this is very convenient having it available right at your doorstep.

Enjoyed the free Pisco sour and ceviche class. Live music was nice at night. Great staff in the restaurants. I don't remember all their names (especially the female bartender that put on a good Pisco sour class) however Roy, Ruben and Gregorio were awesome! Front end clerk was difficult when we couldn't find our luggage tags after our 5 day trek even though we had the keys and our names were all over them. No hot water for two days so showers were unpleasant. Received chocolates one evening in our room with hot water for tea and water bottle in our beds that was a nice touch. Would recommend for the price we paid, good breakfast and very walkable.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. You come off the street, and are in a beautiful open courtyard. The rooms were kept clean and are accurate to the pictures. They have a nice restaurant, game area, bar, and even an Alpaca. There are daily classes that you can participate in. And the included breakfast if delicious. The servers were friendly and worked hard. Next time I go to Cusco, I will be staying here again.

Staff was great, specially at breakfast, Yulisa, Vaneza, Roy and chef Ruben. At dinner time Gregorio! It’s a small hotel located walking distance to plaza de armas, the market and shops!

Beautiful place to stay in Cusco, close to shops and restaurants. We only stayed one night after completing a 4-day hike to Machu Picchu. The check in process could have been better, but we had a comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, breakfast included.

From the first day we arrived at the hotel the staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent hotel, well located, comfortable rooms and very good service. We did not have a working bathroom. Staff was quick to respond but not to resolve. We had to use the bathroom in the lobby, which was on the first floor. Our room was on the second floor.
Would not recommend this hotel.

Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great. The hotel held our bags for us when we left to do the Inca Trail hike, provided hot water bottles every night in the beds, and provided a snack when we had to checkout before breakfast time. One thing I will say, make sure you bring ear plugs as the walls are quite thin. Otherwise, 10/10. Great experience!

We had a fun stay at Union Hotel in Cusco. We stayed in the quadruple room, which was very spacious and had comfortable beds. The courtyard was super cute, Kiki the rescued alpaca was adorable, and we had a good dinner at the restaurant. It is out of the hotel's control that there is a bit of street noise and honking at all hours, which is the case for many hotels in Cusco. Breakfast was good but most of their pictures are not representative and look overly glamourous (I suggest updating your photos). The images of breakfast that are more basic are more in line with the experience. Hot breakfast (omelettes, scrambles, etc.) was the best part of their offer. Location was good with just a few blocks to the main square. I would say good value for the price.
