My wife and I came for a vacation to Cancun and unfortunately we did not expect our stay to be this bad. Although it was a cheap hotel we did expect the minimum from them especially because they are in Marriot group. These are the things we noticed and happened that made our stay unpleasant:
1. Breakfast: breakfast had very limited options, the vienoisserie (croissant, bread…) were made unprofessionally, most breakfast items were heavy mexican dishes like frijoles, tortillas, soups… that honestly smelled very bad in the morning especially when there was cooked chicken and beef.
2. The in-room bathroom:
The bathroom only had towels and some soaps as amenities, no toothbrush, no cotton swabs, no sponges. The shampoo and showergels smelled so bad they also felt like dishwasher soap on us. There was also hairs in the shower and the shower head also had black spots on in like mold.
3. The room:
There was a very bad smell in the room all our stay, it honestly bothered us a lot.
4. Location of our room:
We booked our room with a view, they gave us a room directly next to the parking. When we asked for a change they told us it was fully booked now but we should wait till another room is available another day. When they told us a room is available we didn’t want to change because we already settled down and unpacked and we had a lot of activities to do in Cancun.
5. The receptionists barely speak english and we were finding it hard to communicate questions we had about our stay.

Good hotel with big rooms for the price. The first room was a bit musty but there was no problem moving to another room. The kitchen utensils weren’t very clean but everything else was ok. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. For 85$ a night it’s a great deal. We stayed at other fancier resorts and hotels but if you don’t need the beach or fancy pools, this place is fine.

I went to cancun for a 8 days vacation. I book this hotel for 4 days. The room we got didn't have a shower curtain in second bathroom. I booked the next 5 days again but different room, again the second shower wasn't working properly. The pool water was not clear. Needs some attention. Besides that everything was good.

Would have been a much better experience if there were efforts made to reduce smoquitos near the pool area in the evenings, due to the number unable to enjoy the beautiful setting. Second, offer more local food options up near the pool area, The menu remained the same and very limited. Third, offer coffee and pan dulce in the late afternoons.

Great hotel, big rooms with a big TV and cable. Confortable beds.
The breakfast is good and it’s included
Polite staff
The swimming pool it’s on the rooftop, it’s OK but is not that great to spend a few hours in that area. It’s small.
Definitely a great option vs the price per night!!

We had a little confrontation with the lobby manger. He did not help us have a smoothly check in because he made us go to a computer and print a 9 years old ID. Something that he could easily do it since it was their computer.
I believe he needs more costumer service training.
About the hotel. It’s a new and nice hotel, everything is working, rooms comfortable

The rooftop restaurant and pool were amazing! Great views!! We loved the room, too. My kids and I were so impressed and had a wonderful time. It was the last day of our trip and the perfect way to end.
