Our host Oreste was very helpful and friendly. The staff at this hotel spoke English and went above and beyond to help us. They even provided excellent Gluten free rolls for my breakfast each morning when I told them I was Celiac. The breakfast spread was excellent. The room was clean with a balcony and wonderful view of the lake. Across the street there was a nice walkway along the lake in both directions joining the towns. It was very close to Malcesine and other local attractions. We liked it here and would definitely stay again if we return to Lake Garda.

Right from the start the staff made us feel right at home - nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The facilities were great- especially the pool which was great to cool - off in. There were plenty of deck chairs to lie on both at the hotel and over the road at the private beech on the lakes edge. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. We have been in Europe for 6 weeks now and this by far the best place to stay both for staff and facilities.

The check-in was based on a gentlemen's agreement, because the hotel did not get the notification from Hotels.com.
The morning, at check-out, I had to show the Hotels.com email to the concierge to let her now haw much I had to pay.
Room was essential, bathroom did not have hot water during the night; it was available as of the morning.

wifi was paid and I had problem to start browsing internet [both my windows phone and laptop]. Everytime I had to restart their router. Fortunatelly was not password secured. Obviously it was just me, other guests had no issues.
The breakfast was good.
Friedly staff

We arrived at the hotel and was shown to our room. It stank of damp and so was offered to upgrade to a room with a balcony for an extra E40. This was a bit annoying the fact it was the only option! Anyhow we upgraded and we were so glad because this had a balcony which was brilliant considering there isn't any air-conditioning!!!!
The hotel staff are okay, don't speak lots of english which can be difficult.
The hotel is old an does need a revamp. The swimming pool is really small! Not as shown in the pictures. Also the pool seems to be falling apart, tiles missing etc.
Apart from this, it was pleasant to stay and very handy with the location.
HOWEVER! For the price you really couldn't complain. Just not somewhere you want to go if you're going to be spending a lot of time at the hotel.

The hotel is very good. I had parking spot, and breakfast was sufficient and very good. The receptionist older and taller has been less kind, and disturbed by the fact that by your agency we got a lower price. The requested additional payment of 5€ / day for the air conditioning.
On the whole, his sojourn was fine.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Rosmari for a week. It was an ideal hotel for us overlooking the lake and away from the touristy, busy section of Lake Garda further south. We didn't have a car but had no problem getting up and down the lake on the bus which was only a short walk away. The nearby town had some lovely restaurants - as well as the one recommended to us at check in, it really can't be beaten on price and the service was excellent! The staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help. The only downside to the hotel is you have to pay for wifi, however, we were given a reduced rate at check in so only paid 5Eur for the whole week which wasn't too bad. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, breakfast was decent enough, the pool with lake view was stunning and we couldn't hear anything through the walls (though we are deep sleepers)! We would definitely stay again!

We chose this hotel as it's in a quiet and less touristy area of the lake. Local public transport was cheap and reliable. The hotel was clean and run efficiently. It has a good sized outdoor swimming pool and a large Garden area. The rooms were a bit dated and in need of a make over. It was large enough, but was missing tea/coffee making facilities. The view of the lake out of the balcony window was spectacular. Worth the little extra change for a lake facing room. Break face was typically European and plentiful with very helpful staff. Overall a good hotel and recommended.
