Wonderful ski-in ski-out resort, walking distances to eateries and marts. Super convenient. Staff are super friendly and helpful, even helped us book a restaurant and shuttled us there.

Incredible service, absolutely faultless the entire time, this might be a 3 star hotel but it felt like a 4 star hotel with 5 star service.

We stayed at the 2 BR penthouse, which has breathtaking views of Mount Toya from all rooms. You get to soak in that image to your heart’s content. A definite highlight of our trip. You can also watch the sunrise from all windows.
The hotel is modern and stylish and everything is new and in pristine condition.
Because we came in spring, the hotel was almost empty, and there wasn’t anyone at the front desk, which was a little lonely. The hotel restaurant was closed, as were many others (even if it says open in search engines).
My only suggestion to them is that out of the 4 pillows in each bed, they have two tall and two soft/flattish ones for belly sleepers. All 4 pillows in both beds were hard and tall, so I had sleep without.

It's a tidy place to stay close to the lift chairs & nice view.
About the dry room & storage, no as connivence as most of the ski in-out resort but just enough. There's not enough warm to dry the gears over night.....

True ski in ski out property! Ski lifts right outside hotel door. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 6 nights. In room washing machine was super helpful since we were traveling with kids. Close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel provided transport from hotel to Hirafu Welcome center which is where our shuttle bus from Chitose Airport dropped us off at.

Be careful with booking your ski/ snowboard lessons and make sure to get all the details. I booked the wrong lesson by mistake and concierge informed me that they will look into changing it to the correct one. They came back saying that everything has been settled and that there was no action needed on my part. When I left the hotel, the staff started chasing me saying that I need to pay 15,000 yen for the lesson change. I was not aware nor informed about this. I had ask them to investigate the matter and they found out at the end that I did not need to pay any fee for changing the lesson. I think it is still a huge miss from the staff asking me to pay something without looking into all the details first. Aside from that, lovely stay at The Maples.

Had an incredible stay at The Maples Niseko with my family. This apartment-like resort deserves all the praise:
1. Perfect location, just a few minutes' walk to the base of Hirafu, where we had our ski lessons. The street is lined with plenty of restaurants and shops.
2. The resort staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Kayne, Brendon, and others who went above and beyond, offering food recommendations and even helping with carrying our skis to the lockers.
3. The collaboration with Rhythm Ski Gear rental is fantastic. The pick-up and drop-off service for ski equipment rental made our experience even more convenient.
4. The rooms are nothing short of amazing – beautiful, spacious, and fully equipped with household amenities like a personal washing machine with dryer and kitchen facilities. It truly felt like a home away from home.
5. Even on our departure day, the resort exceeded our expectations by sending us to the train station when the taxi company was fully booked.
The Maples is hands down one of the best vacation accommodations we've experienced. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back on our next visit to Niseko!
