The room is comfortable, with good beds and a private bathroom. Olga prepares a very good breakfast for US$ 5 and is very friendly and helpful to get you around in Santa Clara! I can fully recommend you this property when you are in Santa Clara!

Overall nice, but too noisy (doorbell, phone ringing) and loud talking at inappropriate hours when people might be resting

The host, Olga, is very welcoming and helpful. We arrived late and needed to find a restaurant that was still opened. She recommended a very nice one just 4 blocks from her casa. We had an early bus when we left and she made us breakfast to go! Enjoyed talking with her about Cuba.

I am originally from Santa Clara, and since my whole family was visiting I decided to stay in a hostal to make things easier. My grandma's house is about 2 blocks down from Olga's hostal, so as soon as I saw her place in Expedia I knew we were staying there. The house is located in a historical, calm and quiet neighborhood (El Carmen). But still close (around 10 min walk) to the center of the city (Parque Vidal). The room we stayed in is spacious and has a full, separated bathroom with hot water. Olga cleaned and changed sheets and towels every two days (we stayed for 7 seven days). She also made delicious and abundant breakfast for us, with previous notice from our part. We barely stayed in the hostal since we were with family and friends and doing tourists things around, but Olga made our trip much easier than just staying in my family's house. Especially because my boyfriend is from the US and he is not used to the Cuban ways. My family came and met Olga and we realized that she actually knows one of my grandma's sisters, which made us much closer. We had a great stay at Olga's hostal and would probably repeat the experience on a future trip. Gracias Olga!!

Olga was very friendly and responded very fast. We had a small problem with one of the doors and she fixed it right away. The air conditioner is a life saver. There is warm water and a toilet seat! (which is rarely seen in Cuba 😅) I used the laundry service and got clean clothes on my bed the same day. The breakfast is not huge but it was fresh and had variety.
