About this cottage rental
Perfect for small families and couples! Just a block from Main Street in Bayfield, steps from dining, shops, and Rosie's ice cream. Unwind in a King bed, savor morning coffee on the front porch, or enjoy the spacious partially fenced yard—ideal for summer BBQs and stargazing. With its cozy charm and prime location, your memorable summer retreat awaits.
INSIDE
Step into the bright white kitchen, complete with a butcher block countertop and modern appliances. The sink overlooks the lush backyard, making dish duty a bit more delightful. Pull up a stool at the peninsula to help prepare meals or just chat with the chef. The kitchen opens up to a cozy area with a couch and TV, perfect for movie nights or cheering on the Jays. Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms that comfortably sleep six.
The dining area, located right in front of a warm gas fireplace, sets the scene for memorable meals.
NOTE: Playpen/Highchair available upon request
OUTSIDE
Sliding doors beside the dining area lead to a patio with dining for six under a covered umbrella, a propane BBQ ready for your grilling masterpieces, and a large partially fenced-in yard perfect for bringing along your furry friends. The outdoor gas fire pit, surrounded by Adirondack chairs, is ideal for roasting marshmallows and stargazing. For a bit of classic lawn fun, there's a set of croquet ready to go.
Out front, enjoy your morning coffee on the charming front porch, soaking in the peaceful vibes of Bayfield.
SLEEPING SPACES (All located upstairs)
Premier Bedroom with King Bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 - Single Bed with Single Trundel bed that rolls out.
BATHROOMS
Main Floor 3 Piece Bathroom
Upstairs 4 Piece Bathroom - Combination Tub/Shower
NOTE: I expect we will have more beach this Summer 2024, depending on lake levels and what the lake pushes up. There are lake accesses all along Tuyll Street which is a great adventure to find your favorite! And you can walk 2 min to the Main Beach.
The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
NOTE: Parking is limited to 5 vehicles
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
