This spacious first-floor apartment for 6 people nestles in the Valle del Sarca River, surrounded by beautiful mountains. It is 5 minutes from the town of Arco and 15 minutes from Lake Garda, so is the ideal base for family or friends who want to explore this stunning part of Italy.
On the first floor of a contemporary villa, set in a large fenced garden, the apartment has a large balcony, which extends along 2 sides of the property. The balcony has panoramic views over the countryside and mountains beyond. Furnished with a café-style table and chairs, the balcony makes the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee or an aperitivo.
Inside, there is a sunny corner living/dining room, with dual-aspect windows and a door out onto the balcony. The room is furnished with a stylish sofa, armchair, a flat-screen TV and an elegant dining table with chairs. The separate kitchen has another dining area for more casual meals.
The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and a toaster. The kitchen also has a glass door leading out to the balcony.
The garden is shared with the ground-floor apartment. It includes a terraced dining area and extensive lawns.

Bedroom 1: This bright bedroom has a double bed, a large wardrobe and French windows out onto the balcony.
Bedroom 2: A classic bedroom furnished with a wooden double bed, polished wooden wardrobes and a dressing table.

The villa is on the edge of Arco, which is the rock-climbing centre of Italy, so the town has several climbing schools. Arco’s medieval streets, beneath the 12th-Century castle are fascinating. The town has many fine buildings and restaurants to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Arco’s weekly market (Tuesday mornings) is the best place to find the freshest local produce. Alternatively, there are supermarkets and other grocery stores in the town.
The villa is a 15-minute drive from the lovely town of Riva del Garda on Lake Garda. This historic town, with its charming cobblestone streets and vibrant piazzas, makes a great day out. Here, travellers can immerse themselves in the local culture, visit historic landmarks such as the Apponale Tower, and browse through quaint boutiques and artisanal shops.
For adventures on the lake, the resort of Torbole (12 minutes) is known as an international hub for windsurfers. There are several schools in the town. Visitors can also kayak and paddleboard nearby. The beach is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peace of Lake Garda. Away from the water, there are many fine hiking routes. The panoramic Sentiero Busatte Tempesta (16 minutes) is a stunning hike on the eastern shores of the lake.
The nearest international airport is Valerio Catullo, Verona, a 1 hour, 5-minute drive.
