Pleasant

The owner was very kind and accommodating, offering assistance in finding a place to eat and even offered to order for us since we were not fluent in Danish. The location was great as we were planning a trip to Legoland the following day. Check-in was easy and free parking was nice to have.

The facilities are quite old and not well maintained. The room was quite dirty and rundown, although the linens were clean. We booked last minute so we expected a higher cost, but the price was too high for the value of the facilities offered. It was quite loud with loud music well into the night.

Bad. After a night stay, we move to another Hotel. Because of this, i would never book a Hotel here in Booking.com. Such

Nothing! If it is not because of the location, i would not book it! We stayed 1 night but Paid the 4nights stay - that is the reason he collects payment right after you arrive - no refund.

Smells old smoke on the chairs, carpet and bed. The TV doesnt work because of old batteries on the remote. Spiders everywhere and thin walls that you could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. He only speaks Danish, even if i told him i dont understand Danish.

Great place on a budget!

The owner was so friendly and even gave us a free upgrade to the biggest room they had. It really meant a lot to us and we are very thankful! The transport routes are good and the local area is lovely. The we got was so nice and was so roomy! We even had our own bathroom with the upgrade. Thank you Egtved Hotel! ❤️

There was a smell of smoke throughout, but the place was nice enough that you could ignore it :)

My flight was late and I arrived to hostel too late (3.30am) and hotelkeeper allowed me to enter. He was very kind. Also

Noise from the bar below. The small bed with high pillow. The smell of smoke from the bar below, despite the rooms being classified as none smoking. The lack of options to reduce the heat in the room

Ideal if you want to visit Legoland but dare taking a bus to save 3/4 of Legoland's hotel prices

* Quiet place - easy sleep * Egtved is very beautiful place * The owner, Mr. Klaus, is very helpful * Building is 120 years old but is handled like a dream

ok backup if nothing is left in Billund with great access to regional buses

There is a bus stop just 2 mins away from the hotel with buses that go to both Billund and Vejne.

Bathroom has signs of mould in it and probably hasn't seen a major update in 30 years. The hotel seems like it offers good savings vs staying in Billund but after 1 taxi trip and 4 bus trips, it just about evened out and we would've wasted less time staying in Billund.

Acceptable if you're on a really tight budget, otherwise just no

Nice staff and easy check-in. The room was tiny but felt clean and the bed and pillow were actually very comfortable.

There was only one toilet and sink to be shared between all rooms. I was having nightmares about someone getting sick and blocking the only bathroom. Public spaces felt quite old and shabby and the whole place reeked with cigarette smoke (not in the room fortunately!). The room and bed sheets felt clean but when my daughter woke up in the morning, she found that she had been sleeping on a big (and dead) insect. She's 9 and claims to be traumatised for life. So no, even though it's inexpensive and the location is good for visiting Legoland, we won't be staying here again.

No breakfast Involved. Location is good but must have a car to move around

One toilet and shower is shared by to many rooms. Noises and snoring can be heard from other rooms due to room partition wall not sound proof or flimsy.

very cheap price for good quality. No breakfast available on sunday morning, but: water boiler and coffee/tea at room, perfect. Nice small bar with excellent and not expensive beverages; nice and authentic atmosphere.

Yes, the hotel looks just like it probably did 50 years ago. But the rooms and bathrooms are clean. For the price your paying this is a very good hotel with a very special flair.

Great for a night on the road.

The beds were comfortable, sheets new and mattress too. The hotel is a bar / hotel with a friendly owner looking after both. It’s simple, as would he expected in such a small town. The hotel is pet friendly. There are no breakfast facilities, but the nearby supermarket has a great bakery.

The cleanliness of the hotel could do with improving. No doubt being closed for months meant that some of the ongoing cleaning work wasn’t done. The rooms are great for one night. The reception area is the bar.

Nothing like been made feel at home, the locals were a sound bunch.. comfortable stay

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and from comfort to location to price, everything was too notch. Especially enjoyed the bar and the locals there were all very friendly, bar girl was a real delight too, lovely lady who mixed with her customers which is rare in these times..handy for anyone travelling to the airport as the bus is two mins walk away 166
