About this estate rental
Bohemia Estate
Welcome to Bohemia! This brand new estate, just completed in June of 2024, is set on three private acres with 200 feet of gorgeous pink-sand beachfront. Bohemia is located ten minutes from Governor's Harbour, the main town and premier location on Eleuthera.
Appointed with wide-plank wood floors, white shiplap walls, beautiful lighting, seagrass wallpaper, and luxury bedding, The bungalows at Bohemia are luxurious but have a laid-back, barefoot feel.
Walk for miles in either direction on our secluded beach. After a walk on the beach, or an afternoon snorkeling our reefs and swimming in our turquoise sea, refresh with a dip in our heated ocean-view pool.
Bohemia Estate consists of the following structures:
1. Three studio bungalows. Each bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with walk-in shower, and covered veranda. All bungalows have spectacular ocean views. You can see the sunrise from your bed!
2. The Bunkhouse: The Bunkhouse is appointed with one bedroom, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a covered veranda. It also has a stunning ocean view. It is furnished with two twin-on-queen bunk beds and can sleep six.
3. The Pool House: The Pool House is an open-air, covered space for guests to gather for grilling, dining, playing games, or just relaxing by our extra-large pool. The Pool House has a fully stocked, self-service bar, operated on an honor system. The bar area features two under-counter refrigerators and a sink, a lounge area with two sofas and an oversized chair, and a dining area equipped with a six-seat dining table, all to make a fun alternative to a beach day. There is also a karaoke machine and a movie projector. The pool house has one restroom and washers/dryers for guests.
4. Traveler - a Two Bedroom Villa: This lovely two-bedroom house features two bedrooms (one king and one queen), two baths, full kitchen, open-plan great room, and sweeping beach and ocean views throughout. It also has a back-up generator.
Amenities at Bohemia include free Starlink WIFI and satellite TV, air conditioning in all rooms, charcoal grill, beach chairs and umbrellas, bocce ball, corn hole, karaoke machine, movie projector, yoga mats, free weights, bands, and TRX.
Bohemia Estate is very convenient to restaurants and stores. LeoRose, Delish, and Pascal's restaurants are a five-minute drive from the property. There are also two grocery stores and a liquor store nearby. A ten-minute drive takes you into central Governor's Harbour, the main town on the island. Governor's Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th-century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from a fisherman at the town dock. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governor's Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won't want to miss it.
Eleuthera is most famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. It has a population of just 8000, and everyone knows everyone. The snorkeling and diving on the island are worldclass. There are many reefs which you can snorkel or dive right from the beach. The fishing is also excellent because the island is so undeveloped and thinly populated. Bone fishing is very big, as is deep-sea fishing and reef fishing. You can fish on your own or hire a guide. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. You can rent power boats, sailboats, jet skis, sea kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and scooters. You can have a charter captain take you out for fishing, snorkeling, or diving excursions. There are several popular spots for cliff jumping, including some tame enough for children. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, dozens of beaches, each one unique, some historic churches and 19th-century homes, and little villages to explore..
