Peter and Julie are excellent host with a lot of nice recommendations to the area. The room was smaller than I originally thought, but it was extremely cozy and warm with all the nice amenities inside. We loved all the nice decoration and historical feeling the room has to offer. Will definitely consider it again when we plan to visit Kingston.

Gorgeous, unique, property. If you do not appreciate antiques and antiquites, this is not the spot for you. Peter and Julie were great hosts, and easy to communicate with. We had an issue and needed to leave early; they were quick to help resolve and accomodate us.

The Church Des Artistes was lovely, and I'm hoping to go back someday to this charming guest house. The hosts were so nice but not TOO friendly, they gave us our space and were helpful in every way. Our room was cozy, with a canopy bed and a claw-foot tub in the bathroom. The patio had lots of flowers in planters, and had long tables for gathering; at night the tables were lit with candles, perfect for sitting outside with a glass of wine. I highly recommend this unique and beautiful inn.

I had a lovely 3 night stay at this unique guesthouse located in the historic downtown area of Kingston. Owners Julie and Peter could not have been more welcoming or helpful with great recommendations for places to dine. Breakfast was delicious: homemade fruit pudding, eggs and croissants with local jams and plenty of coffee and tea and the conversation with my hosts and other guests were engaging. My room was comfortable decorated with antiques and a variety of art. Bathroom was beautifully updated and spotless. Plenty of comfortable seating in the great room. This is not a cookie cutter place and if you need a tv this is not the place for you. I would definitely return!

What a quaint oasis in a lovely little town. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
The place isn't well suited for people with limited mobility (the private bathrooms are downstairs and the shower is in a high sided tub).

This is a uniquely beautiful space that draws those with creative pursuits.
The proprietors, a painter and a musician, are friendly and helpful, making time for their guests! I found Church des Artistes a effect place to retreat and refresh!

This was a very overpriced bed and breakfast! The owners were quite pleasant, but there were several things about this establishment that raised a flag. For one, we had to go down the hall and down a full flight of stairs to the bathroom. At the bottom of the stairs (where our "private bathroom" was) was also the door to the entrance of the house. Althugh there was not much traffic, it was still rather uncomfortable to walk up the stairs with my towel on! Our beds were never made on Saturday, nor was the garbage removed from the room or the room refreshed. Addiionally, apparently they CHARGE $15.00 for breakfast. We had to leave early both mornings so we only had a glass of juice. The first day bread pudding and croissants were out as well as coffee, etc. The next day, just hot/cold drinks. Most people like a BREAKFAST at a B&B and even though we were going out I think more of an effort could have been made. I would look for alternate accomodations if in the area again! Too much money for what we got!

It is a very different type of facility. The owners are delightful and accommodating. We first learned that the bathroom would be on a different floor immediately before arrival and after we had booked this expensive accommodation. The breakfast was minimal. The neighborhood is on it's heels but convenient to local sites. If you are looking for something different, this may be your place.
