It's a very nice hotel.
Location: 3-5 minutes to lifts. Plenty of Guides and Rental spots.
Restaurants: Everything is nearby! 3-10 minutes and you have everything!
Pool/Gym/Hot Tub: Busy pool after ski, gym always easy.
Bar / Billiards: Very nice bar area.
Overall, one of the best hotels in Val d'Isere. Doubt there are better.

This hotel is amazing. The staff super friendly and so helpful. Great location, only a couple of minute's walk to the slopes. We stayed for 14 nights and it was just amazing. Will definitely be back.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Tsanteleina. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is situated right in the center of town and just around the corner of the ski slopes. It has all the charm one wants from a retreat in the mountains. The alpine style is warm and friendly.
The view from our room was on to the ski slopes.
Sadly, due to the Covid restrictions the restaurant was not able to open. `However breakfast was delivered each morning to the room. Also, we choose our dinner from Matt’s Delicatessen downstairs so still sampled the wonderful food from the chef.
We will definitely return, hopefully for a fully opened experience, in the future.

This is a class place. Room was exquisite, with balcony overlooking the street. Service was excellent. Price a bit high, but this is
Val d Isere! Not for families, but well-heeled couples.

The Tsanteleina is in the perfect location, it is built in a traditional style and makes for a perfect ski holiday. The rooms I have stayed in are lovely and cosy and we love the M bar for apres. The best thing about the hotel is the service; the staff are excellent, helpful and greeted us by name. We will be back next year for sure.

The location was great. Our room was on the side facing the road which was not great. Loud at night when people leave the bars. The mountain side would have been perfect.

The hotel was generally good and everything was well catered for. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived and took time to get to know us and learn our names so they could greet us personally each time.
What really stood out though was on the last day my wife broke her leg and ended up in hospital and the hotel were fantastic shuffling bookings around around I could remain in the room for as long as needed and dealing directly with my insurance so I didn’t have to worry about payments etc.
The staff even made up a bag of treats and essentials for my wife while she was stuck in hospital and they would save me a table and dinner each evening for my return
Can’t praise the staff and management enough

This hotel was perfect! Room and amenitites were outstanding. Great location to be in the center of town Bs Just a 3-5 minute walk to the base of the mountain where the gondolas and chairlifts are. Ski storage was great and ski rentals conveniently located. The staff was more than gracious and happy to help with any request. We checked out at 5:50 am and they has breakfast packed up for us. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

The property is located in the heart of Val D’isere and is a very short walk to the gondolas. The pool, sauna and whirlpool are great after a day of skiing. The ski lockers are convenient as is the ski rental located in the basement. The rooms are clean and comfortable with heavy curtains which make for a sound sleep. Great place.

This hotel combined the best of big hotel delivery with a cozy, small town, old world feel in keeping with the beautiful setting. The staff was well spoken in several languages, and accommodated our special requests quickly. The location was perfect - walking distance to the lifts and in the middle of the major shops. I would highly recommend a B+ or better grade room with a mountain view -- it's worth it.
