First time I have stayed in an old, converted church! The apartment was large, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable! The Wonderful Italy staff were friendly, quick to respond on Whatsapp, and professional. The location is just a few minutes walk from the seaside through a park or two minutes into the cozy backstreets of Bellagio. There is a public parking area just on the backside (2 euro an hour between 8am and 8pm). You don't need a car in Bellagio as you probably want to take the ferry.
Highly recommended especially if you like to avoid shiny hotel rooms that all look the same :)

Oh goodness.. where do I begin?
Cons:
*Nobody met us at the entrance, which was not easy. The taxi dropped us off at a parking lot that seemed to be the entrance. We then realized we had to go down a ton of steps to the entrance to then climb up a ton of steps to get into the “gothic church turned to apartments”. This was not an easy task due to the many heavy luggage’s we had since we planned a month long trip to Italy.
*Again the tons of steps and at night it’s hard to see them because they are elongated.
*The place is obviously old and it felt as such, cracking, dirty looking, old smell, etc.
*The sofa bed was so uncomfortable and just didn’t feel clean.
*air conditioning was working continually though the day so we’d get back to a hot space.
*No soap, body wash, shampoo/conditioner. It just sucks to have to buy all that when traveling. Body wash and a shampoo/conditioner would’ve been nice and doesn’t take too much work to provide.
*when we sat on the family room couch, we got bit by something and felt itchy.
Pros:
*Ideally located near the ferry.
*Large space for a family of 4.
*Nice park next to it that you can walk accross to get to the ferry.
*exterior: Its a beautiful gothic church.
Overall, I would never stay there again and would not recommend it.

This property had a lot going for it, but some serious issues.
Cons
The building and specifically the bathroom smelled like mold, if the window in the bathroom was left closed it would also smell like sewer gasses.
The shower curtain was busted so it was difficult to shower without it falling on you.
The pictures look like a lovely tiled bathroom but in reality it was wallpaper squares that were peeling and mildewy.
Most dishes we pulled were dirty and needed to be rewashed.
We stayed for 5 nights and were given one towel each, and extra set would have been greatly appreciated.
Lastly, no one met us at the unit as was stated and we had quite the time finding the obscure entrance.
Pros
The area is gorgeous and there is a beautiful park right across the way.
Very centrally located and close to the ferry.
Lovely charm to the place in general.
Overall, I would not recommend this property and would not stay again.

Location is not exactly where it’s pinned on Expedia, it’s about 70m away / uphill. The only complaint with this property is that it’s not actually a queen size bed, it’s two single mattresses put together.

Grubby wardrobe doors, dim lighting, Mould in bathroom (health hazard),view is of the car park, garden sorounding area needs cleanup, in over 20years travelling & 10 times Europe this is theworst place that.I have made comment,It is 10Min walk from Como ferry, also has thin walls,Not easy to find on foot, We we’re booked for 7 days moved out on 6

Would have liked a larger bed and a TV.

It's certainly very unique in its Gothic style and very spacious, close to everything. but we found dust in corners and on some selves, the storage room was full of cleaning stuff and smelled like mold....also even it is only 4 miniutes walk from the ferry, with its location at the top of the hill and to carry big suitcases along the pebble stone road all the way up to check in is no fun at all.

When we arrived,,it said we would be met by the “team”,and taken to the apartment. but we were given instructions on how to find the apartment. We were treated rudely when we couldn’t find the lock box, our phone was not working properly. and they finally sent someone to help us get into the apartment, she kept saying, I sent you directions, I sent you directions. Not I’m sorry no one met you, or sorry you had trouble upon your arrival. It took her several tries to find the right keys to the gate, the front door and then the door to the apartment. It was a terrible way to begin our time in such a beautiful place. The apartment was roomy and had comfortable bed. It was the staff that made a horrible impression on us. The walk up to the apartment was extreme with our luggage. We never spoke to anyone again until we were contacted by text and asked what rime are you leaving, the latest checkout is 10! The area is beautiful and we met many kind, wonderful people in Bellagio, but this staff was not among the kind or considerate of visitors coming to visit for the first time. We would not stay here again because of the staff and the way we were treated, not like guests, but like intruders into their day, by having to help us.

Perfectly located, but that’s all it had going for it. We stayed 4 days, no hot water for showers for 2 of those. No response from the management when it was raised. Uncomfortable bed. Shabby but not chic. Inflexible 10am checkout time. Very over priced for what it is

Staff was great in communication and even met me at the property to check in and show me around. Amenities were good. Tub/shower is charming, but deep. Grab bar could be helpful, especially for older guests. Convenient location. Would recommend.

Very unique property! Very convenient. Exactly what we were hoping for ~ a traditional, historical Italian space. The air conditioner was a great touch & made the room quite comfortable.

Very old musty. Parking was a quarter of a mile away. The musty smell was so bad that our eyes were irritated the entire time and when I complained I was simply told “what did you expect from ancient furniture? Your choice” and Expedia was ignoring y repeated request to get moved to another unit.
